But lurking is good for your forum health anyway. It lets you focus on more important things while you forget about anything on the forum that may be upsetting you. It gives people a chance to forgive and forget and it allows you to reflect on what you and others have posted, thus letting you see things from different perspectives.

The only poster I can think of that may have definitely left is Ideological. Last I heard from him he had another temper tantrum at Citation then threatened to leave again. Haven’t seen him since.

Anyway, don’t worry about there being another forum. As Ivan said, we aren’t making it to replace KYM, nobody will have to choose one over the other. It’s just giving us more space to work with. It’s all based on the theory that one thread just isn’t enough for us and if we had more room then maybe things will be easier. We are still testing that theory though.

If a new forum does go up, I’ll use it but I’ll still be here too. Everything is just an idea right now and we don’t know for sure how it’s all going to work out.

So I say again: Lets just wait and see what happens before we grow any concerns of any kind over the new forum :)

My view on how the new site will progress:
1: No one will use it because everyone's cautious.
2. Someone will break the ice with the first post.
3. Others will follow, the site's use getting more and more frequent.
4. Someone will start a flamewar.

Now that you mention it, this thread kinda resembles my previous stay with my cousin in his apartment with his 6 buddies sharing with him. It's all fun and stuff until I realised that I have sleep on a couch and they only have ONE bathroom available.

So it looks like the forum isn't going to be totally sfw, or at least not in the same was as it is here.

R34/Violence/Gore is still undecided on. it may be hidden, password protected or it may not exist at all. For now I do not want to add a R34/Violence/Gore section. But it may be added so that we can filter content.

Ric felt that he needed to be shipped constantly, so he created an alter-ego for himself and created a forum account for that ego. Now he gets shipped all the time. This also explains:

- Love for Creepy pasta
- "missing" Gamzee once he left, therefore going psycho and needing another version of Gamzee. Thus Slendy was created.

But the IP check proves nothing:

It is very easy to get around the IP thing.

Proxy servers are for people who think they hide when using a proxy server. Proxies are very easily detected.

there are better methods:

VPNs, Remote access, Mobile networks (3G, 4G, Edge, etc)

Remote access being the most secure and bulletproof one. Using your internet u connect to a PC in the middle of nowhere, obviously it is connected to an entirely different network, it will never be detected as proxy. And it cant be traced back to the person whos accessing it. Unless you know someone in the FBI to check this kind of stuff.

This account is dsl.bell.ca and it was registered using this. An admin can check this info, i think. as for the rest of IPs they are different enough for me to register 3 new accounts with fake names and emails and upvote myself. I don’t have any account besides this one, but I could easily do that.

Getting around any limitations of the Karma system if they are going to be imposed.

But I don’t care about Karma, not going to bother registering more accounts.
