Not sure if anyone in the world knows precisely what is a internetmeme and what is not, I am wondering if the writing style "worst. thread. ever." is a meme.

Its origin seems to be the Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lzyd91NFx-Y ). It's a widespread stylistic tool on the interwebs for quite some time now, but alas, no funny pictures. A lot of copycat behaviour though and it does fit the Dawkins definition. So, why not?

If it comes from the Simpsons it's usually not an internet meme. Too many people know it from the Simpsons and not the internet.

Good fodder for the forthcoming Glossary/Dictionary -- like mini-entries
