To explain, the reason is that Anonymous posts and uploaded have the name "Background Pony" on Derpibooru, and some uploaders (the ones that use tags helpfully) put the artist's name in the tags.

No, the reason is that Rarity is the most relevant when searching for "background pony".

when the BBcoide is used by most forums nowadays? yes, the BBcode usually IS easier to memorise.

As you can see here, they don't differ that much, it's the difference between what type of brackets you use.

However, that list is incomplete, because alongside html KYM also supports Textile, a much more simpler and quicker way to type.

<b>Text</b> will have the same result as *Text*. Instead of going with <blockquote></blockquote>, you can also just start the sentence with bq. followed by a space. Instead of going <a href="URL">Hyperlink</a>, "Hyperlink":URL works the same. Textile, due to its simplicity, IS easier to merorize by beginners, and not something those forums always seem to support.

Textile works perfectly for quick forum posts. And unless you actually write entries on the site like myself you can do without html, as Textile covers the most common things used on the forum. And even with entries you can get a lot done with just textile.

So, rewatched Equestria Girls the other day and had to watch it with Russian Subtitles because all the good versions got removed (it's basically the same movie that was posted on this thread but with Russian Subtitles) and all I can say is…..I like the movie a bit better than I did last time, and that my native language looks fucked up.

@Background ponies: Dude, the day before Season 3 when they had all those Season 1 and 2 Marathons. Yeah I was at one of the smaller streams, and when you REALLY watch Season 1 you can see why people called Applejack a background pony. She would just blend in to the background, this happened so much me and this one guy kept going "Lol, Applejack in the background as normal". Now with Rarity I think we can agree that she steals the show whenever she shows up in the background…..I'd say Rarity is more of a…..supporting pony at this point.

It's actually quite a bit easier considering I don't need to add spaces or quotation marks to the codes, or use silly codes that have no connection to what I want to do. [b] means bold, [i] means italicize, [smcaps] means small caps. As opposed to * for bold, _ for italicize, and god only knows if you can use small caps. It's much more straightforward and doesn't leave me scratching my head thinking why someone would use a _ for italicizing when it would work much better for underlining.

And looking back at Changeling Puff, I also thought of how the author seems to be pairing Fluffle and Chrysalis… I guess that's what their kid would be like (if they could have one).

I really enjoyed Equestria Girls I thought it was a fun little movie, I'd like to see more of that world, I can understand why some people might have problems with it but I liked it and I liked Flash though I just wish he played a more important role then teaching Luna about Photoshop, I would even go as far as to so say I ship Flash and Twilight but I refuse to call them Flashlight!

Speaking of Season 4.

What do you guys want to see in Season 4?

Me personally although I can't imagine them doing this, I would like a song in one of the episodes where each verse is sung in different language (with subtitles on screen) I don't know why but something very muti-cultural like that seems very fitting for the show so that would be my unrealistic want in season 4. My more likely want is less spike episodes (love the guy but his season 3 episodes are my least favorite episodes of the whole show) and more Rarity episodes and perhaps more information on Celestia's and Luna's past, we know the basic information but I'd like to know more about her becoming a princess and Luna becoming a princess and what were they like in their younger years.. and did Celestia's hair colour change for any reason or just because she wanted to try something new? .. but any insight would be good even the smallest off hand comment from Celestia.

Though main thing I want though is more Rarity episodes, Sweet and Elite by far one of my favorite episodes.

Oh boy, hands. Nasty little things to vecotor. When using pencil it is easy enough. Just write a series of the letter J and BAM you got fingers. But when vectoring, you gotta visualize where all the joints go and all kinds of rubbish

Okay you have the fingers on Lyra angled a little too sharply downwards. From the way her wrist is rested, they would appear a bit straighter than that. Otherwise you got the shape alright. Personally I would use EqG only as a guideline on hand shape but not dimensions. I wouldn't copy EqG proportions unless I was making an actual Equestria Girl

I'd reduce the length of the fingers overall. They seem too long and spidery. In fact I note that you still drew your characters hella skinny. Why do you do this? Their respective height and arm length in comparison to their girth makes them look anorexic. When the time comes where you gotta draw a character that actually is anorexic, what are you gonna do? Draw a stick figure?

In any case, I like your art, keep it up.

BBCode really is easier to understand.

It may require typing more characters but it is based on logical and memorable constructs. That's why BBcode is largely considered the standard on forums. Here we juggle between Textile and HTML notations which can be confusing.

I would wholly support getting BBcode on here if it weren't for the fact that BBcode can only be implemented by installing a PHPBB forum in direct replacement of this custom built forum.

Now replacing this forum with PHPBB is a pretty big deal and could pose a lot of other problems starting with the fact that a PHPBB forum is designed to run standalone with it's own account handling system and everything and will be difficult to streamline with the rest of the website. If James had an easy way of dealing with that then we probably would have BB code already. But it isn't easy.

1. Another goddamn Scootaloo episode written by a god tier writter.

3. At LEAST 2 Rarity episodes
4. Derpy's small cameos. Not talking about speaking roles I'm talking about the Where's Waldo scenes I feel in love with and sorely missed from season 3.
5. Celestia and Luna episode! /originality.
6. Discord 'Using his magic for good most of the time'
7. Twilight doing some princess duties
8. Spider-man's iconic comic "Kraven's Last Hunt" being adapted for Season 4 of MLP. But hey that's just what I want to see.

I don’t know why I like clop. I never thought I would when first started watching this show. Just to clarify, I never fap while watching the show. Is no one gonna bring up the Equestria Games? We had a whole episode in season 3 dedicated to having the games in the Crystal Empire. It makes sense that there’s going to be an episode centered around the Pony Olympics where one or more of the mane six will be competing. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just Rainbow Dash, but I wanna see the mane 6 competing in different events and competing together. Could you imagine the mane 6 on a hockey team? That would be awesome.

More Scootaloo has to happen, right? (1 episode out of 65 is and appalling ratio).
EqG already touched on Twilight adjusting to princesshood so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of that, in terms of both her new duties and appendages.
More world-building by expanding on the lore surrounding Celestia/Luna/Discord/Starswirl would be amazing.
'Reformed' Discord has to come into play somehow considering how far out of their way they went to do it.

Every time she's been asked about season four, Meghan McCarthy has described it as 'ambitious.'
I'm really looking forward to seeing what that means.
