Oh boy, hands. Nasty little things to vecotor. When using pencil it is easy enough. Just write a series of the letter J and BAM you got fingers. But when vectoring, you gotta visualize where all the joints go and all kinds of rubbish

Okay you have the fingers on Lyra angled a little too sharply downwards. From the way her wrist is rested, they would appear a bit straighter than that. Otherwise you got the shape alright. Personally I would use EqG only as a guideline on hand shape but not dimensions. I wouldn’t copy EqG proportions unless I was making an actual Equestria Girl

I’d reduce the length of the fingers overall. They seem too long and spidery. In fact I note that you still drew your characters hella skinny. Why do you do this? Their respective height and arm length in comparison to their girth makes them look anorexic. When the time comes where you gotta draw a character that actually is anorexic, what are you gonna do? Draw a stick figure?

In any case, I like your art, keep it up.

Ironically, the Finger length thing may have been done better in an image I did later that Night. that was for a Dragon Pony Thing. Even though its not supposed to be Anthro.

As for Girth… You mention that they seem Skinny compared to Arm Length? I kinda thought I drew the Arms too long if anything.

But Otherwise, I don't really know much on Proportions for Humans… I'm going to have to work on that aren't I? Was there a Formula or something? Two Head Widths Wide for the Rib cage? Or was it One and a Half?

I'm setting up the synopsis right now:

Changelings are spotted infiltrating Equestria again. Celestia is the first to go and Chrysalis takes her form because that's how real body snatchers do it: take over the leadership.

Luna detects that her sister is not her sister. But Chrysalis Celestia banishes her again.

With Twilight in the human world attending high school and Cadence on her honeymoon, Luna goes to Discord for help. They form the Justice league and enlist the help of Dr.Whooves (because hes good with invasions), Rainbow Dash (because she insisted) and George Carlin (because they needed someone to tell Changelings to go fuck themselves)

[commence montage of changeling asskickery and George Carlin insulting mothers]

Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy are bodysnatched. Applejack is saved. Discord turns applejack into an alicorn just to act as temporary rulership

Meanwhile Lyra is sent into the human world to find Twilight. She fails after meeting her human counterpart where she falls in love with herself and abandons her mission.

Dan and flufflepuff are also bodysnatched

Chrysalis hatches a plan to thwart the justice league by inviting Justin Beiber to play in equestria. The plan is an overall success as the superior TROLOLOLOLing puts Discord to shame and he is defeated. Changelings subvert most of the population gathered at the concert. Beiber is also bodysnatched. George Carlin steals the stage and begins performing in front of the changelings. He calls this "the best audience he's ever had" and abandons the mission

Fluttershy is revealed to be alive. PLOT TWIST. She's a mad scientist that planned the entire invasion as well as faking her bodysnatching as part her plan for world domination. This serves to distract Luna which further contributed to the leagues failure. Luna ruins part of Fluttershys plan but Fluttershy defeats Luna with her Gundam robot and then escapes to the future in her time machine. Dr. Whooves pursues. They are not heard from again leaving all survivors with no more heroes and no plan

Trixie takes it upon herself to stop the changelings once and for all. She summons the forces of hell to her bidding as an army to combat to changelings. This goes about as well as you would expect. The ironic thing is that if she didn't try this and just waited for the Doctor, the Doctor would have fixed everything. But no.

Apocalypse event

Years pass. The balance of good and evil destroyed. Everyone dies. Demons roam the earth. Trixie spends the remainder of the story battling hell until she really is the most powerful pony sorceress in all of Equestria but now there's nobody to prove it to. Damn.

Soarin and Braeburn survive the apocalypse and then they all fucked.

Well you could go either way. You can make the arms shorter or the arms thicker just so long as things look proportionate.

No idea what the rules are to be honest. Things either look "right" or "off" to me whenever I'm checking for accurate proportions. I just think "Could this body shape be implying something that would normally make no sense in the given context?"

Depends if anyone else picks up on it. But I feel when it comes to drawing vectors, it's usually just you and me talking. We don't seem to have too many other active posters that draw ponies

Anyways, I don't care if people clop or not. That is something they do, and I can live with that. I know a few cloppers IRL, and they're great guys (and one girl…). What I hate, however, is the MLP porn itself (photos and videos… stupid Google). I can handle shipping and whatnot (I even write it, obviously), but actual pornography of MLP always turned me right into the opposite direction.

Having anatomical trouble, are we? Well, allow me to suggest a remedy.

Anatomy for the Artist is a book you can find in the collection of any artist worth their salt. It's an absolutely vital reference, even if you don't draw humans a whole lot. The sheer detail of the studies it contains makes them works of art in their own right.

I use it myself any time I need to draw anything even vaguely humanoid. With this study I flaunted a while back, I pretty much copied the human from the tome.

The problem you have is that you don't seem to do a whole lot of preparatory stuff before you make the final image. The really hardcore folks draw multiple sketches layered on top of each other before they're even halfway done. Lazy bums (like yours truly) still have to do the mannequin and add some rough meat on it, at the very least, before the real job starts.

What's the mannequin, you ask? Well, that's just what I like to call it, I don't quite know what the proper term for it would be. Basically, it's that little jointed stick-figure inside the dudes you can see in that study of mine. Virtually all artists make use of it in some capacity, as it really helps with getting the proportions and positions right. I know my artwork had a nice jump in quality when I saw the trick and copied it.

And about proportions, don't sweat 'em too much. They're important if you want things to look believable, but they're not sacrosanct laws that you must adhere to blindly. It might be beneficial to do a few pieces where you do strictly adhere to them, though, as that will drill the practice into your muscle memory. You'll end up sticking to proper proportions on instinct, allowing you to concentrate on the more fun bits of drawing.

Well, I liked the art of it, though Futashy was a nope for me. That some parts were 'interactive' was pretty cool. I think it's sort of comparable with Banned From Equestria (Daily), with NSFW pony stuff, interactive etc.
In the end, I think it was made well, but this graphic NSFW pony stuff isn't really something I like.

I don't think 4chan is always truthful, I'm not that dumb. I just couldn't figure out what they happened to be talking about in this case, it makes sense now but all I could figure out was the EqG/FOP connection, not that it's a hypothetical series concept they were speaking of.

Much better, but that one arm is still quite jarringly skinny. Compare it with the one partially hidden behind the torso. While they're about the same thickness, the hidden one looks thicker since the viewer's mind tends to fill in the blank spot with his own interpretation.

I took the liberty of editing things a bit. As you can see, you had the opposite problem of many video game character designers; not enough biceps. Other than that though, keep up the good work. Also, you gave me the perfect excuse to go dig up my old graphics tablet. Been meaning to do that for close to a month now, so thanks for that.

Chances are quite good you've seen it before. There's usually a copy in any self-respecting art classroom. Hell, I got my own after I had a look through my school's copy.

Pretty much, yeah. Just remember, there's a reason many artists are never satisfied with their own work. The reason being that you should always strive to improve, no matter how good you get. Many a young artist falls into the trap of complacency and their quality doesn't really improve over the years as a result.

Ugh, I hate when I'm forced to agree with something that's badly written. The Penny Arcade article was terribly cheesey (Seriously? Quoting Game of Thrones?) and I want to disagree with it.

I have to begrudgingly admit that he's got a point though. While there are some legitimate evils that individuals can perpetrate which ought be rejected, which you ought to fight with all your might, that individuals enjoy dancing terribly for ponies is not one of them. Are these people silly and weird? Of course they are, and it's going to be natural to want to chuckle at them, but for Christ's sake, reserve the wells of your ire for those who actually deserve it. Hating others for the simple act of their joy is absolutely and indefensibly reprehensible.

These people are doing nothing but enjoying themselves, leave them the fuck alone.

I don't clop to MLP. Porn of something has become one of those things you simply can't avoid on the internet, Rule 34 reads "no exceptions" for a reason. And I'm already experienced with the dark corners of the web to a point that things like that Flash animation no longer suprise me. I watched it, and was soft the entire time.

No, the thing that really strikes me is how it seems that in every situation where Bronies are brought up, such as in that PA article; there is always that one guy who feels justified to shame all of us because he knows there's porn of MLP somewhere. This is of course ignoring the fact that not all Bronies make or even enjoy said porn. Those guys are just bigots but their failure to see the forest through the trees makes the entire R34 issue harder to ignore for everyone else and that's what really gets to me

The pony porn itself is not of any concern to me at all for reasons I've explained in the past. Hearing people constantly complain about it gets very tiring for me

My take on clopping? I see enough real boobs in real life that if I accidentally come across [art style] [character] wearing [clothing/lack thereof] with a [anatomy/sex toy] [verb] [character] [style] in [location], I simply roll with it. It's nothing new to me anymore. I stopped caring years ago. Meanwhile if I'm going to fap, I prefer fapping to my photographic memory of assorted sexiness. Only clopfic I've read was one being featured on FIMfiction after I published my own story on there and it pissed me off to no end. It was just so terribly written. Even porn should have to observe basic storytelling conventions like rising conflict and release: The dramatic curve in this piece of shit was even more limp than I was (Not gonna lie, the Scoota-skull fuck managed to elicit an 8th chub)

As towards clopping and mlp porn, maybe it's just because I've become desensitized from all the saucy horse pics that KYM has exposed me to, but it really doesn't bug me all that much. People who enjoy anal sex weird me out more honestly. I was pretty okay with the three curious ponies animation until Dash got the dildo up her butt.

Generally, I have a huge problem with telling people what to do or what to watch unless it's directly hurting someone else. There is some pretty depraved stuff on the internet – I've seen some of it – but I'm fine with it existing unless someone was harmed in order to make it (so CP and snuff films are out, 2 Girls 1 Cup can knock itself out). It's not so much a matter of whether I find something arousing or disgusting, but instead a matter of suppressing whatever disgust I may feel so to recognize that there is nothing objectively wrong with someone masturbating to something I don't like.
