Really, either/or. I'm pretty flexible.

Edit: so I finally get a get, and this is the post that gets it? Good times. Have some ponies:

At this point, nothing in this thread should come at a surprise to you.

Other people might call it WTF insane creepy wierdo clownshit.

I guess you're right. After all, I've had my share of posting shit like rape, clop, non-sexual jacking, rule 63, and reading Mark's fics. I love you guys.

Hmmm, let's see… new quality EG gifs, new thread names, human pony bondage, pony merch, Lauren Faust's birthday, and a roleplay involving OCs. Well, count me in, if it isn't too late to join.

And speaking of weird shit, i'm still on Pony General 1 and I haven't seen any weird, disturbing stuff that's supposedly floating around.

So, the fourth season premieres on November 23rd. Dear god, that's the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination. The Mane 6 must stop Lee Harvey Oswald from killing President Kennedy.

Goddammit. I forgot that it was Lauren Faust's birthday.

Well, here's my belated "happy birthday" message to her.

So that's why the superhero forms were introduced. Well, that would be interesting.

Speaking of which, I think I found the site's new motto:

Oh God… I just had a Horrible Realisation… Or at least a horrible Musing…

Imagine if by some Magical Means the Cutie Mark Crusaders had Three Children… Mixing up their Genetics between the Three to do so.

Two of The Resulting Spawn Can Be Described as Such…

One With Sweetie Belle's Body Color and Apple bloom's Mane Color.

One with Applebloom's Body Color and Scootaloo's Mane Color.

Now… Picture them Clearly… And when you have a Clear Mental Image… Press the Spoiler tag and tell me how well the mental Image Lines up

Fausticorn

Princess Erroria

I've Spent way too long Tonight trying to come up with Offspring for Canon Ponies.

Okay, let's not panic..

Drama horse, what do you have to say about this?

Ahh! Fixitfixitfixitfixit!

Is that….a humanization of the panzerfaust recoilless anti tank gun of World War II fame?

ALSO they must stop John Wilkes Booth from assassinating President Lincoln!

Oh wait…. Conan O'Brien already did that so…the ponies can chill.

Wait till you get a bit farther, Pony General 1 is basically just us experimenting with this newfangled "forum" technology after ages in the comments section of pony.

Tell me when you reach my supposed gay orgy with BSOD.

Does anyone know where the black and pink haired version of Fluttershy comes from? I really want to know. Thanks in advance!

I believe you're thinking of "Green isn't your color" Where Fluttershy appears on the cover of some book with a black and pink mane.

Yep. We should get angry about writers. They put her in the Mane 6, but treat her like a background character(or just not as one of important characters). At the other hand, in ^that pic she just had no pair(5 cannot be divided by 2). But that does not exclude the fact that she is close to the rank of the background one. IMHO.

So, according to the dates I set, tomorrow is the inaugural roleplay night. RM, got any idea on where we're doing this?

I love it when this fandom confuses the shit out of people.

The guy who wrote that linked article clearly does not understand the internet. But it's funny seeing the kind of reactions we get. Once again the fandom successfully trolls another victim: some guy (who I can only imagine is one of those douches who pops the collar on his polo shirt and wears it to clubs) sees "30 year olds watching a kids little girls cartoon" and gets his mind blown by the porn, just in time to rant about it in an article and get shot down. Mission accomplished, folks.

What's even funnier though is this dude also insults Steampunk and LARPing. Has this blowhard even seen a Steampunk convention? That shit is freaking awesome. It's got more artistic finesse, style and class than goth and all without the depressing shit.

Cool, someone took my idea for making a gif

I have contributed kinda not really sat on my ass and told someone to make a gif!

Now I ride off into the sunset as a hero.

@BSoD Oh boy, another Brony hate article! reads it Ah, disappointed like all the others. When will people learn that porn is apart of every fanbase? I mean seriously, there are MANY ways to make fun of bronies (I.E. 'Brony Scalping') yet they ALWAYS go to the porn which is basically the very essence of the internet itself.

What I don't get from most brony haters is the fact that they think the fandom is only a bunch perverts. I can't imagine their faces when they discover that there's porn of just about anything.
Pardon my ignorance, but what the fuck is a Juggalo?

Last edited Jul 26, 2013 at 09:42PM EDT

A Juggalo is a fan of Insane Clown Posse. Unlike members of the KISS army or any other obsessive music fandom they get pretty violent when you voice your opinion against them. I speak from experience as one tried to stab me in the throat with a pencil in highschool when I said I didn't like the group….At least it's a great way to make friends/family as that guy's girlfriend (Also a Juggalo, also tried to stab me in the throat) told everyone that Juggalo's stick together no matter what, it's true too. If you checked their Facebooks you'd see they both have 3000+ friends that all have their avatars as them with their faces painted like clowns.

Still don't want to be in a room with them again.

@Kennedy
Don't worry, Mr. President.

Ponies will protect you!

(Seriously though, why do these exist? Why have people shopped ponies into shots of Kennedy? This is the least potentially offensive one I found, too. I think you can image what some of the others were about.)

Ever since I posted that gif of the three CMCs dancing the other day, I have been beating my head against the wall because of Sweetie's little move there.
It was so damn familiar but I just couldn't place it.
For whatever reason, I finally remembered just now:

Sweetie Belle is Tsukasa from Lucky Star!
(… which actually kind of fits for anyone who has seen the show.)
I have no idea why that dance stuck with me enough to recognize it in an entirely different context, but Lucky Star seems to be popular enough that I wouldn't be surprised if this was a direct reference by the animator.
That's gotta be the single most obscure reference I've ever noticed.
May I join you in riding into the sunset triumphantly?

@BSoD's article
Wow…
I know people make '>stopped reading there' jokes about other people's posting all the time, but rarely have I ever been so close to truly doing just that.
The guy's first two sentences:

"I’m still in that high school mindset that anyone who shows too much interest or enthusiasm for anything is a massive tool. I recognize the absurdity of applauding apathy, but at the same time it’s totally valid."

That right there made me completely stop and reread it just to be sure I didn't misinterpret something because that is one of the most juvenile (and proudly so) statements that I've seen in a while.
Everything about that article just screams 'Stop liking what I don't like!' in the most transparently pathetic way possible.
(Or technically, 'Stop liking anything because liking things is lame!')
I think the 'author' is absolutely correct when he identifies himself as having a high school mindset, in all the worst ways.
Though I guess expecting anything approaching fair, competent writing from a site called 'BroBible' might have been expecting a bit much…
Glass houses, anyone?

Oh jeez, its that damn "brobible" site. People keep linking their articles, and I hate ending up there. It's a good thing that we can mock them here without reservation. [Points and laughs at brobible.]

@Tsucasa dance

OMIGOD you're right! How did I miss that? And it's super appropriate! I wonder if that was intentional.

Okay… Just Did some Experimenting for Practice on my Graphics Program of Choice and Learned a Trick for Improving a Specific kind of OC Design… The Dreaded "Offspring".

Basically, The Problem that The Lazy Person's Version has , color wise anyways, is that its Generally fairly hard to just ram a few colors together from just any set of Parents. It's Complex and has something to do with Saturation and Brightness.

In any case, You generally Have to blend The colors to get something Nice. But words of warning should be Applied here, having the Blend at halfway Looks… Off…and tends to push it into looking Grayish Sometimes… So its Better just to go with Quarter Blended colors.

If this is all stuff you already know then Please excuse me while I cry into my pillow at how long it took me to figure that out.

Is…Bro Bible an actual site?

Not a parody site? I mean…rating things "Bro" and "Not Bro" with plastic beer cups?

It has to be some kind of joke, right? Like the Onion?

I've always hated seeing the word "Bro" everywhere (to my disdain I'm part of the 'Brony' community. In a community made by creative people we couldn't make a name that's not just combining 'Bro' and 'Pony'? Goddamn!) so I knew once I saw the "Brobible" website I knew I was going to hate every second of it…..and I did! You have no right to call people "Tools" when you say Bro all the time and even rate things with "Bro" and Not Bro.

I already hate everyone involved with that website and it's not just because of the fandom article, just them in general.

I have only one thing to say about the writer of the article:

But besides Juggalos what is the very worst fandom out there. I mean is there a group that is not misunderstood and is just plain crazy?

it originated from

/b/ro
/b/rony
brony
tell me more of this creative community

that's why I call myself a ponyfag because brony is no longer a /b/ thing

Twihards and Beliebers for sure. I mean Justin Bieber fans will go out of their way to worship the guy and will belittle any other celebrity in the world as long as it makes Justin look like the god they build him up to be. Will stick up for every horrible thing he does and send millions of death threats to celebrities who make fun of him or any girl that expresses interest in going out with him.

Twihards……Need I explain the incident when some Twilight fangirls saw Robert Pattinson on the street and cut their own necks and told him that he can feast on them…..also Twilight WAS made by the woman who said she'd leave her husband if Edward or Jacob arrived at her front door.

Ahh, makes me feel better and less insecure about myself and this fandom when I make fun of and put down other fandoms.

@Derpy Yeah, I'm not much of a fan of calling myself a 'brony'. I only call myself that because there's really no better name out there although I'm starting to warm up to the term 'Ponyfag' as you're insulting yourself so when a hater calls you that it's just like "Dude, I call myself a Ponyfag all the time. Get with the times!" Besides, IMO anyone who can call themselves a Brony or a 'Pegasister' (Dear god, I hate that name even MORE than Brony) should have no problem calling themselves a ponyfag.
