@ SAT in Equestria
I didn't think there was any math in Equestria. I mean, Applejack sort of admits it to her brother in Applebuck Season. I thought the main purpose of the school system in Ponyville was to educate foals on the acquisition of their cutie marks. But seeing as how there is a book on their schoolhouse sign, I could be wrong.

Then from there, depending on what species they were, would move on to flight camp…

or magic school…

As for earth ponies, I have no idea what happens after elementary… maybe they go to labor camps?

So… how many bronies/pegasisters are here in Southern California? Glad to hear some replied with suggestions to what I should do here! I will be heading to Disneyland some time this week, so thank you very much, Dead Parrot, for that suggestion! Probably heading to Ontario as well. I heard you can make Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie plushies somewhere there…

@Mark: If all ponies don't learn basic math, then how the hell does currency work? This is the only reason I think math is a part of basic pony studies, because even farmers or gardeners need math to run a business and make a living.

I call SoCal home, but I'm not there right now. There are a lot of things to do there, but do know that everyone else has the full intent to be doing them at the same time.
(Short version: expect traffic)

Anyway, you can actually "make" the Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie plushies at any Build-a-Bear store. You don't really get to do any sewing/design/assembly – just choose voices and give them clothes. Considering how new they are though, your options are pretty limited.

OK, I said there wasn't any math in Equestria… I realize that I did. And yes, I made a mistake in doing so. Most likely the ponies who run or own businesses do know at least the basics, but not all ponies do know math, let alone the basics. I'm surprised that Applejack, who is a business pony, can know monetary values, but not any other math. And on how currency in Equestria works, you have to understand that it isn't like our capitalist markets we have here. Bits, probably made of gold, can only buy the basic necessities for a pony. But gems, even as small as the one Rarity paid Spike for when he took care of Opal (Just For Sidekicks) was enough to buy an industrial blow dryer.

How does that happen? Who knows. It just seems to me in some cases like this that shiny objects attract a pony, and they may give whatever they want for it. Math just isn't important to them, most likely, and only their skills do in many cases.

Here is their website, which features most (if not all) the MLP stuff they have so far. There are two sets of shoes, and two dresses for both Pinkie and Dash (I guess you could mix-and-match, but Dash really shouldn't be wearing any Pinkie-focused clothing and vice-versa for style reasons). Then there's a doll brush, and a sound box.

The basic pony (nudist, mute) plushies are only $24.




As far as locations, there is a Build-a-Bear in Ontario, but you might as well just go to the one by/inside Disneyland in Anaheim.

I think it's much more reasonable to say they rented the dryer. How do I know that, you ask? Simply because they couldn't get the gem back. Not only that, but you'll likely never see that dryer again. Even taking into account the rules of status quo, one would think they could have at least sold the machine back at a reduced price. But contrarily, they were quite certain that their purchasing power was gone. If you think about it, a tiny gem like that being used for only the rental of that giant machine for a day just makes more sense anyway.

Just pointing that out so you don't go looking for them inside the walls or something.
And like Crazy said, it's the Disneyland one so I can practically guarantee that they have ponies there, not to mention that that store in particular is gigantic.
(Slightly relevant side-note: I went to dinner tonight and there just so happened to be a little girl carrying a Build-A-Bear Rainbow Dash out of the restaurant as we were going in. They seem to be pretty big and reasonably well-made for just $24.)

They're 16" tall, so they're actually bigger than most custom plushies people commission. I'm not much of a fan of the brushable hair, but they are still really cute.

In other news:
The Wildlife Learning Center Indiegogo Campaign just reached $20,000.00. That means we now have a white bunny named RandomMan Angel, and we're going to have a Salcuta Tortoise named Tank! They'll name other animals after the show pets if-and-when they reach their other goals.
