Really, no. No matter how good games get, they will never do that unless the male and female character choice is one of those split story type deals, where the male gets 1 story quest and the female gets an entierly different quest.

If they're the same story, little else except your own perception of events and how characters should operate will change. And if you feel men and woman have drastically different tone, feel, and values while playing the exact same story with the exact same events, that's more on the person then the game.

Bioware shut down its own forums after mismanaging it for years, because they said facebook, twitter, tumblr, and reddit were better outlets. What strikes me with that though, is those sites don't require you to be accountable to your own fans when you do dumb shit. You can just block and ban as you see fit, and never have to deal with accusations of mismanagement, since they aren't your sites to manage in the first place.

Posing as a admin of a Dox group (with yourself as the target) and collecting all the information of everyone that want's to see you off the internet, then exposing them for collusion is pretty darn damning. I'd like to un-ironically put a Not all Anti-GG 'ers. (Mostly because of context, the conspirators didn't really cite GG as the reason for trying to Dox Mombot. While they may have denounced GG, they didn't do it there so… it's a technicality.) Some are just aboard the hype train and have bought into the narrative that Gamergate is harassment against women, others are journalists with cash to make. It's strength in mob mentality as it were, happens all the time if you've seen a rally of passionate people believing in a cause no matter how bat-shit-crazy it looks on paper. The more people you have in agreement with your cause, the more "correct" you appear to be.

That said, I'm now realizing that what Fem Freq/CON/Trust and Safety Council is doing in the name of Feminism is what Susan G Komen Foundation (also a non profit, but profit) is doing in the name of breast cancer awareness. The idea of making a profit off of a cause while still "contributing" to it. If you've ever seen a promotional for anything featuring a ribbon in a particular shade of pink™ then it's intellectually owned and promoted by Susan G Komen™. ("She's not a person anymore so we've made her a martyr for the cause and perverted her message!") Most of the costs go into the production of the promotional item/marketing and then to the foundation to "raise awareness," in the end only a tiny fraction of the promotion ends up going to the cause they're using as a marketing maguffin.
