Everyone on Know Your Meme, we are going to miss Club Penguin that we will remember…

I've heard nothing but bitching about how bad it was, but since it's closing down everyone is backpedaling and claiming it was a divine gift. Why?

Nostalgia is my best guess. Remember when there was some 009 Sound System song almost on every single video back in 2007-2009? People always muted it when they heard it but now if you go look at the comments, for example 009 Sound System – Dreamscape, there is shit tons of people who actually likes those songs now. I myself never hated 009 Sound System songs. They were overused back then, so of course i did mute them too but never hated. Now these days i go listen to some good old 009 Sound System songs almost everyday.
Some things just reminds us the times when everything felt more simple and nicer.
