Bad news everyone. FUNimation is going to dub Uzaki-Chan. And it looks like the voice actor of Uzaki-Chan likes to antagonize the fandom as haters.

Just another thing on the "don't give a damn to watch" list, really.

Just torrent Ghost Stories or something instead

It can be as faithful or political as it wants Im still not gonna watch a funimation dub or sub. Fansubs tend to always be better anyway.

Slowly, but surely Funimation is becoming the next 4Kids! in terms of censorship.

I'm probably the person on this site who's most antipathic towards Uzaki-chan but this is such a stupid thing to do. I get localizing a series can make it more palatable and thus more revenue-generating but this is just absurd given Funi's track record, not to mention that second line (if it's not satire) basically treating the majority of the audience as though they can't tell fiction from reality.

Again, just torrent Ghost Stories, you'll get both a better anime and a better dub

Wow I'm just surprised that the entire cast isn't just Chris Sabat doing the same three deep voices he does all the time. Yes, including Uzaki.

I am just waiting to see if it becomes like Interspecies Reviewers where only a few episodes are dubbed, and then Funimation just sits on the license while going after fansubs. At least there is still the manga (for now).

Personally, I have been watching the 1990 Moomin series just because YouTube recommended it to me.

I normally prefer dubs (as in almost always) but fuck Funimation and fuck Monica in particular.

This is why you should get your dubs from Sentai Filmworks or Bang!Zoom Entertainment, way better quality in general.

Or just watch subs, either one works.

I’m not surprised that a controversial anime is getting a dub with one of the voice actresses being super controversial and scummy.

Besides the anime/series is mediocre to begin with and it only got this big is because people think a short girl with big boobs equals being a child. So anyone gonna take bets on them doing shifty stuff like they did with Dragon Maid?

Who else does dubs other than Funimation currently? I feel like this was inevitable.

Just asking, where'd this come from? Because that part below the line makes me think this is clearly a joke (the whole "especially if you are someone watching Funimation" because that clearly sounds like it was written by someone who dislikes the company and is saying "if you like Funimation then you're some virgin loser to begin with so like hell you'd get some big tiddy anime waifu irl").

It is indeed Satire but this IS FUNimation were dealing with here…

…and after several instances of junk like this, even if light hearted, I dont trust them handling anything well.
But Im also generally more into the mangas and fansubs of series anyway.

The manga is way better than the anime I recommend reading the manga instead since Funimation is likely to ruin this.
