The main page is still the old design for me, but a lot of the page entries and image galleries are the new design. Can't say I like it. Navigation sucks. What was wrong with the old design? Y'know, besides being guilty of the apparently grievous sin of "being old." I stand by the principles of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and "Leave well enough alone." Who cares if the design hasn't been updated in a while? It's not like people were clamoring for a wholesale from-the-ground-up redesign. Just a few tweaks here and there.

Also, serif fonts? Yuck.

That new design the site is forcing on us is literally just a generic news site layout.
If you're going to force that on me then I'm out. I'll say it again, I've come here to read meme documentation, not a news site.

I'd argue that meme documentation also includes news, as we've see with the interviews with meme celebrities and figures the staff have been carrying out lately, which is a good thing.

Doesn't excuse a garbage layout though.

Can anyone explain why the site is sometimes normal format and sometimes the backasswords format?
Or if no explanation is forthcoming at least leave the site's switch alone.

Good news, according to Don, the new UI is going to be optional; at least on desktop, assuming I've understood his comment correctly.

I get the new UI if I click on a trending topic but only in the morning for some reason.

The new UI just made me procrastinate even MORE on potential articles because I gotta format it and…

Ahh who am I kidding? LOL i wasn't gonna make another article im lazy

Ok but can I just use the old desktop version on mobile?

It just works
