Looking good, but I remember there are lots of copyright issues on fanart. I remember reading somewhere that we can't profit from it? Because seeing that we have Fry from Futurama, Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden, Derpy Hooves from MLP, Charmandar from Pokemon and a lot others, which are copyrighted characters, I hope this project wouldn't get buried under lawsuit before anything good came out. I think it varies author from author though.
Not sure though. I might be wrong.

This game is considered a "Fanart", and we won't be making a dime of profit off of this though the selling of it.

Katie has turned into a control freak on this project. He is trying to overwrite all of our progress so far and is even going as far as to remove KYM Tan. I vote to boot him from the project. We can finish this on our own.

We don't need a member of the community being the main protagonist or else it'll just be about them.
With KYM-Tan, we don't have to argue who is going to be the protagonist.

Also, Katie had turned this into a Oldfag vs New dominance battle. Even when I brought it up Attheshows (lance, porky, Justin, whatever the hell you want to call him) immediately agreed and all Katie had to say on the matter was that I had been Shafting them the entire project.

Update: First off, I would like to officially welcome Omomon to the production team. I feel that his contributions will help the team as a whole.

Second: I as a programmer realized the grand scale (and time) it would take to create multiple country's in a game. So it was mutually decided that websites would be represented by individual city's and towns instead of the originally intended country's. The overworld will now work similar to Pokemon or Earthbound, where all the city's are connected by linear trails.

This has also caused us to restart the map drawing progress, however a lot of us agreed that copying off the landmasses and boundary's of the United States wasn't the best idea anyway.

Update: Mainly chatted while working on the various parts of the project. Captain Badass has started his own sprites, Suiseiseki is starting a badass looking bus, and we have some potential landmass that we can turn into the world map courtesy of Ardent. Unfortunately, i don't have a demo to show off yet due to camera issues that I am solving now, but its all coming along well!

Expect the other users to post their stuff, as I don't want to gain karma for their work.

Why Michigan though? I think if it said "Interwebs" or something maybe it would be better.

Why not add a window, or a fire-escape door on the back? Because while the model is very good, I think the rear is still lacking.

I got it off of 4chan and for some reason most of their fake license plates are labeled as from Michigan.

Ok. Gameplay: Tales Of style combat with 5 characters at a time. There are enemys visible in the overworld, but the longer you avoid them the more likely a random encounter will occur. If the team falls in battle, the next team will immediately swap in (a la Golden Sun). Each character has roughly around 25 special attacks each.
Story: (wip) The main is KYM-tan, while the supporting cast is active and well known users. The first arc will be a battle against ED. The last will be against internet censorship.
Progress: Not measureable at the moment, as we are still in pre-production. Expect updates after each meeting on Saturday and Sunday night.

so when this finshes im probably gonna put up to 600+ hours of gamplay to get 100% everything like i did tales of symphonia

If everyone could try to find a 3d model that at least vaguely resembles their character that would save me literally days of work. The best formats are .lwo and .obj.

You don't need to do this if I've already made/started work on a model for that character.

Also suitable environmental objects and weapons would be nice too.
