-Moldova, having been lost to Kickassia, is seen by the other vassal states as a warning. Wallachia and Bosnia are discussing defection. In Angmar there is talk about annexing the vassals outright to prevent such a thing.
-Autria is invaded according to the Italian plan. With all Austrian forces distracted elsewhere, most of Hungary is occupied and later annexed outright.
-The war with the Austrians brings home the concept of the dragoon, which is adopted into the military.
-The forts in Africa are reoccupied.
-Expeditions to the far east chart out the coastline of Asia.

-Jutland is successfully captured after Forseti's land forces are decimated by the invasion of Crimsonia. However, a Medicean attack into the Netherlands has destroyed the Autharian military capacity.

-The nation declares independence from the Vatican, making Medicea a secular state.
-Rifles are developed and added to the arsenal.

I'm going to have to ask Morrowind to withdraw from Deisea, and Crimsonia to withdraw from Forseti.

You see, I'm a state in the region that the spanish inquisition comes from. You're dirty pagan aggressors, attacking my loyal Christian trading partners, one of which we literally just went on a crusade with. Looking at this rationally, I'm probably going to face a revolt if I don't oppose you.

So much more PvP in this game than the last. That's what happens when there's pretty much no way to expand but through others. This is especially true for eastern Europe

Speaking of which, I recommend the eastern European nations expand by going through the turks, germans, swedes or building colonies over in Africa. Don't try to expand eastward into my territory. That would end very, very badly for you

Furthermore, I want in on this industrial revolution business. Who wants to sell me some practical steam engines?

Political Map
-Forseti, Sweden, and Morrowind, having invested significant funds into their ongoing conflicts, have been forced in recent times to levy significant stress upon their citizens through taxes and increased focus on military industry, rather than the welfare of the people. This, combined with the proletariat's growing awareness of the unfair industrializing world around them has led to a revolution in the new world colonies. The United Socialist States of Victoria, a revolutionary communist state, has formed out of a violent revolution sparked in Forsetian Victoria, quickly spreading to neighboring Nordic regions.
-The Ottoman Sultan dies without an heir. The resulting dynastic feud tears the kingdom into pieces.
-Anybody who had ironclad and steamship techs this turn has had them merged into dreadnaughts.

-Further advances are made on Sweden, which can no longer sustain a proper military. Dunmer forces aid in the attack through Norway.
-Trade is opened to Medicea.
-The combustion engine is invented. This device requires petroleum to operate, and there is little of that in Britain, meaning that the Steam Engine continues to be the preferred engine in Seccia.
-Electrical devices are imported from Medicea.
-Howitzers are adopted by the military.

-To promote national security, Bosnia and Wallachia are annexed.
-An expedition to the Pacific finds opportunity in a crumbling Indochinese despotism. The merchants in question seize the opportunity with a mercenary army, and the government of Angmar quickly moves to consolidate the claim as a foreign trade port.
-The new port of Singapore alongside the shipping canal through Egypt has resulted in a great quantity of exotic goods being shipped to Angmar, including Chinaware and Spices, which had previously been extremely expensive in Europe. As a result, Angmar is quickly accumulating massive wealth, having cornered the Asian luxury goods market.
-Missionaries are sent into and across west Africa to convert local kings from Islam and Animist faiths to Orthodox Christianity. They are marginally successful, and would be more so if they had military assistance and a vaccination for malaria.
-A canal linking the Mediteranean and Red seas together is proposed to the Ottoman Turks. With most of the labor and financing promised to be provided by Angmar, the Turks agree to lend the region surrounding Suez to the Greeks. Mining Machinery and steam driven drills help to move the dirt quickly, and the canal is completed in an astoundingly short time.
-Following the dynastic crisis, the Ottoman Empire collapses during construction of the canal. With no legal authority to return the land to, the Suez region remains under Greek control.
-Egypt protests the continued presence of the Greeks with a show of force. Military camps are established on the border, and vague threats are made. However, they lack the technology and military strength to actually make good on their threats.

This causes Kickassian logistics to rely heavily upon foraging for food and salvaging battlefields for munitions. Attrition and desertion is high.
-The army is not finding enough volunteers to replace men lost in battle. Numbers are gradually dwindling.
-Moscow and Minsk, the largest population centers in Kickassia, are under siege by Novgorodan forces.

-Tensions with Italy mount after the annexation of Savoy. Italian agents are found in the region spreading unrest via nationalist propaganda and sabotage.
-Germany accepts the defense pact, and requests assistance against the Crimson invaders.
-Better rifles are imported, and now being produced in Vascony. Howitzers are also now being built.
-With aid from Fasier's railway program, Vascony is catapulted into the Industrial Age.
-A few key straits are claimed in the new world.

-Forces are removed from Deisea and sent to invade Norway. Sweden, broken by the blockade and Seccian attacks, is unable to maintain defenses.
-The Mayans are encouraged to open their borders to trade with the colonial powers. This results in a violent revolution in their nation, wherein progressive merchants push for the modernization of their country, and reactionary aristocrats fight against the notion.
-Knowledge of the Steam Engine reaches Morrowind, and the nation enters the Industrial Age.
-A new region known as Akavir is settled.

-Crimsonia retreats, and offers war reparations to amend the damage done.
-Steamships and ironclads are now being built.
-The concept of Interchangeable Parts is imported from Morrowind, causing increased efficiency and profits from industrial production.
-Danzig is shelled, resulting in a large loss of civilian lives. The port is damaged beyond immediate repair.
-State run hospitals are appearing and medical science ideas from Medicea are adopted and put into practice.
-A draft is enacted to draw upon manpower from the least patriotic people. Women are included, for the first time essentially anywhere, in the military.
-A new constitution is drafted, giving more power to the government and putting an end to various ancient traditions, including gender roles, restrictions on various freedoms, and the outlawing of slavery. The severity of the war and high patriotic fervor has resulted in little protest against the new legislation.

Well as my departing note when i first sent the turn that said invade Forseti i mistaked Forseti for a NPC and tried to call of the attack and it failed.

Also Slappy, really again.

When the time arises i will return. i fall so i can stand back up. I will completely plan out tatcics untill then.

If you decide to join the game, please do not ignore technology. It is very important that your people have things like health care, electricity, and various means of modern production available to them. When the rest of the world is riding trains, surfing the internet, and nuking everything and your people are stuck living in dirt hovels and surviving on subsistence agriculture, it kinda doesn't bode well for… well, anything.

When the rest of the world is riding trains, surfing the internet, and nuking everything and your people are stuck living in dirt hovels and surviving on subsistence agriculture, it kinda doesn't bode well for… well, anything.

OK can i rejoin as the southern part of the continent where Aggara is. Also I generally get stuck for ideas as usually i either think of things too advanced and can never really see most prerequisites.

-Electrical devices are invented.
-Steam cars are imported from Medicea.
-Machine guns are invented independently by a certain individual named Jakan Kazan.

-The military is deployed into Novgorod and Kickassia to defend the latter from the former. The armies of both nations, exhausted entirely by the war, are unable to compete with the force and size of the Syserrene invasion. Persia lends military assistance, in accordance with their alliance.
-Garrisons are kept once the conflict is settled, and the Kickassian royalty is not allowed to return to their throne in Cherepovets.
-Central Kickassia is annexed, and the soldiers return home, giving up their arms in accordance with Syserrene occupation laws. Kickassia's control over Ruthenia and Moldova is immediately nullified, and the monarchy now holds now power in this world.
-Various new medicines are developed, specially geared towards fighting hypothermia.

-A voyage is made to circumnavigate the globe. Valuable charts of islands and continents passed along the way are made.
-Military assistance is lent to the missionaries in west Africa. A number of kingdoms are either overthrown or collected as provincial vassals and added to the colonial government's region.
-A campaign is launched into Indochina as well to gain more converts to the one true faith.
-The death penalty is outlawed in favor of a more harsh punishment in the army, on the front lines, in the most dangerous divisions. As a result, the country's most decorated war heroes are generally from a violent criminal background.

-The German generals, in panic over the loss of their heartland, have seized the governmental offices in east France and started a mass relocation of all French speaking peoples in the areas occupied by German forces that refuse to take up arms to fight the Polish invaders. Most of these people have ended up fleeing into Vasconian France, leading to massive food shortages and open rioting. The German war front shortly afterwards collapses.
-The Italians, unwilling to accept Savoyard integration in a Basque nation, and spurred on by the French uprising, have declared war. The Italians in Savoy actually do not care, and their lives are fairly good in either country.
-The military has been sent into Germany to assist in fighting Crimsonia, but trouble behind the front has broken the logistics system, and the Italian attack has forced them to retreat to friendly territory.
-Electrical appliances are imported, and an electrical generation infrastructure appears to support their use.
-Parliament opens up it's lower house to the common people, and reserves an upper house for the nobility. This is supposed to ensure that socialist ideals, if they come to Vascony, do not enthuse the population into open revolt. Secession, if not already implicitly against the law, is now made explicitly illegal.
-Ironclads are now being built, with a heavy reliance on cheaper imported metals.
-Angman control of the Suez canal and ships without the endurance and speed to get around the African continent means that colonies can not be established in Somalia very easily.
-Colonists, merchants, and any other supply bearing ships headed for Akavir are sent back from the Mayan channel. As a result, the colony starves and shrinks in size.
-Fortifications are established and naval patrols around Victoria are made.
-The USSV is offering to purchase the region_name land claim to their west, with promise of knowledge from a special, top secret project they have been working on in exchange.

-Electrical generation from naturally occurring phenomenon, such as rivers and wind, kicks off what is known as the Green Energy Revolution. Steam turbine power plants are still widely used, however.
-The human genome is successfully mapped. This goes great lengths to aid in finding cures and treatments for a number of genetic diseases and vulnerabilities.
-Steamship and blast furnace designs are imported from abroad.

Two Questions:

1. My report says Egypt was conquered, but it remains a differed color. Is it still independent?
2. The sliders are a manpower to army size scale, but does that apply to one's "homeland", or all areas of rule?

1. I knew I messed up somewhere on the map, but I am way too tired to double check the entire post theroughly. Egypt should be ANGMAR GREY. It will be so next turn.
2. Sliders represent your army's size based on its total potential. Conquered regions are not likely to give up volunteers too soon to your manpower pool, so it really just shows how many people in your loyal provinces are in the army.

Speaking of sales I have interest in a colony in the West. However, since most reachable, reasonable areas have been settled, I'll buy one from anyone who is willing. I'll also promise my aid in any situation demanding it in the future.
