Political Map
-Sea levels are on the rise globally. Low lying coastal cities are finding themselves now at the mercy of the sea. Venice is forced to evacuate due to a lack of funding for the flood gate plan, and very soon the city is crumbling from rapid saltwater erosion. The most devastated country is the Netherlands, which has suffered terrible floods and permanent loss of what was once densely populated land.
-Global radiation levels, slowly on the rise since the use of the first nuclear weapons in warfare, have spiked dramatically due to the Vascon experiment. Medical experts estimate that more than half of all birth defects and approximately ten percent of all deaths in the world are directly or indirectly caused by radiation poisoning. As the effects settle in, medical issues are expected to skyrocket, even without further radiation input.
-Out of control wildfires have caused the skies on Oz to be blotted out. Nearly 60% of all sunlight is prevented from reaching the surface. Snowfall is occurring for the first time on land, and blizzards are quickly covering the far northern and southern landscapes in snow dunes.
-The Scottish government collapses with the ant invasion of their capital city and the loss of government there. Refugees from England and Scotland, previously prevented from leaving the country due to the stringent army draft, flee overseas to escape the horde. A similar situation occurs in Iberia with the collapse of Vascony's control there.
-Global paranoia has caused an outbreak of witch hunting for suspected Gaians. In the areas closest to Gaian colonies, widespread massacres and crop burning has resulted in the loss of millions of lives. The shaving of head hair, which reveals brain bug insertion points, has become common in effected areas.
-A blockade is initiated upon the earth, and nearly all large satellites are removed from orbit. Vascony now has a monopoly on Earth's orbital space.

The Kingdom of Fasier

-Gene splicing experiments yield new types of crops specifically built to survive in the harsh Martian environment.
-A series of rockets touch down on the Martian surface, and set up automated bases there with sustainable environments for human populations. The new "martian wheat" is seeded across the entire planet's surface.
-Artificial reality is integrated into the internet for new forms of long distance communication and entertainment.
-Gaians are ordered to be shot on site. A new pesticide is developed, specifically designed to eradicate Gaian DNA and suppress their reproduction/assimilation methods.
-ICBMs are installed on Oz. The low gravity there makes the moon an ideal missile launching platform. However, what few missiles are set up there become captured by Vascon troops during the lunar takeover.
-Automated bombers, called drones, are developed for the air force.
-Pheromone bombs are given to France and the citizens of Javertus. This significantly turns the tide of the French swarm, but does negligible damage to the Javertan ants. Javertus is now deemed a lost cause, and the civilians have begun abandoning their new homes in the countryside in a mass exodus north.
-Martial law is enacted in Victoria. The nation's weakened military and fractured bureaucracy prove incapable of putting up a fight.
-Vascon troops are successfully convinced to turn coats to the Fasien side of the war, and occupied regions are peacefully returned in exchange for amnesty for the invaders. Vascony's near total collapse and the loss of their Iberian homeland had devestated morale, and the troops eagerly accepted any peace offered to them.
-New Navarra declared loyalty towards Fasier, abandoning all hope of the Vascon government's return to caring about matters on Earth. New Amorica, decimated by immigrant hordes and nuclear bombings, is loosely administrated by Fasien aid workers as the political crisis of Vascony's collapse results in a total loss of leadership there.

The United States of the Syserror Republic
Blue Screen (of death)

-Stealth aircraft are developed.
-Railguns are made for electric rifles and advanced tank designs. Tanks are also redesigned to resist radioactive attacks.
-Electrical power transfer via microwaves is made possible, enabling the construction of orbital solar energy power stations. However, the blockade of Earth by Vascony has made it impossible to launch these in significant numbers.
-Angmar makes a push into Turkey. Their new 3D printing industries, combined with matter-energy conversion have given them nearly instant-creation industrial capabilities, and by extension, they can now enact a 100% draft, giving them too great a manpower to counter.
-Superior military technology has made it possible for Syserror to slaughter Angman forces in significantly greater numbers than their own losses in nearly every battle. Most of Angmar's victories are gained when the Syserrene forces run out of ammunition and become physically overrun by sheer numbers.
-Missile strikes over Greece are nullified by Angman strategic defense.
-Cyberwarfare is pioneered with virus strikes into the Angman internet. This successfully disrupts communications across the nation, especially in the eastern provinces.
-The black sea is mined as close to Constantinople as possible, locking Angmar's naval forces out of the sea.
-In order to defend against a possible invasion from India, Tibet is occupied. Garrisons are also stationed along the border with Imperial China.
-Air strikes are followed up with a massed tank charge into Moldavia and Poland. Finland lends forces to the assault. The civilians in both regions in support of independence volunteer to join the invader forces.
-Public support for the war is high. Volunteers are readily signing up to stop the "Angman terrorists" threatening the world with their conquests and weapons of mass destruction.
-Japan and Yomi honor their alliance, and go to war with Angmar. They invade Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia and successfully capture these regions.

The Most Serene Republic of Seccia
Slappy the Fish

-Linguists have perfected their methods of communication with large ants.
-Virtual reality is perfected. This, combined with a new artificial intelligence, has expedited scientific research dealing with computer generated physics.
-New artificial intelligence chips are applied to all manner of vehicles to make everything from school busses to battleships unmanned.
-Nanobots are perfected, and used primarily in medical treatment, although they have also improved various industries with microscale construction.
-Quarantine protocols are made and promptly initiated against Gaian invaders. Head shaving becomes an incredibly popular method of identifying the infected, and widespread "witch hunt" behavior has resulted in a number of vigilante actions, including mob lynching and the burning of suspected Gaian settlements.
-The sale of headgear designed to protect from Gaian bug bites is subsidized, and nearly everybody in any urban area is now wearing one.
-A few southern East African colonies of Vascony have defected to Seccian rule.
-A massive war declaration is made over the states of North America, encouraging the new nations bond together to oust Seccia from the continent. Seccia's decaying military capabilities there are putting a strain on the African war effort, which very well may have been over now had it not been for the failed offensive in North America.
-Pushes are made against the Angmen in Africa, who are now surrounded and completely cut off from supplies. They are surrendering in droves, although a large number still hold out in various locations in the Sahel.

The Federation of Angmar
Cale the Witch King of Cats

-Methods of converting any piece of matter directly to energy and back again are developed. Large capacity batteries storing astronomical quantities of energy in small spaces become ridiculously cheap, and this makes energy based 3D printing possible.
-Nuclear submarines are now being built.
-Mass drivers are constructed, enabling easy space launches with minimal energy usage and smaller spacecraft.
-Ion field alteration is developed, enabling Angmar to weaken or strengthen local ion fields, making the nation's key industries invulnerable to ion strikes.
-Parliament and the bureaucracy is reestablished in Athens. A "House of Technocrats" is also created, giving that party significantly greater influence in the government.
-An alliance is proposed with North Persia and the Communist Chinese in Taiwan. Taiwan has been absorbed by GAIA, and gives no response. Persia reports that they will help if the rest of their nation is allowed to unify with the north. The Imperials in China have offered their assistance if the whole of China is allowed to unified under the monarchy.
-The war with Forseti is declared to be over. However, Danish troops continue to make regular bombings of military outposts in Jutland and Pommerania, as well as delivering regular air drops of military supplies to rebel groups
-A settlement program is offered to the Spaniards, and many accept. Howevewer, power-hungry warlords leading some powerful factions based in Morocco refuse to let the plan go into action, and mobilize a ten million man army to invade Egypt. Angar's forces are completely overrun, and the Nile river valley is made the center of the modern khanate. Industries there are quickly mobilized and expanded to fuel continued conquests in Africa and the Arabian peninsula.
-Armies in central Africa are completely surrounded by hostiles and running low on supplies.
-The economy is nationalized in the core regions of Anatolia, the Balkans, and eastern Europe. 3D printing and mass conversion industries are set up here, reducing the need for human input in production to zero. The income system is altered to a completely centralized welfare state. Only those who contribute intellectually to better the nation are given higher salaries than those who do nothing.
-The unemployed are drafted into the army. This grants the hypothetical manpower modifier that 3D printing and mass conversion promised to give, and millions of new soldiers are fielded in only a few months.

The United Kingdom of Vascony
MDFification

-Fleet lasers are targeted at all orbital weapons platforms and satellites. Regular orbit patrols are made to remove all non-Vascon entities above the atmosphere.
-The remainder of the navy and all other land and ocean resources are scrapped to fuel the construction of a larger space fleet.
-Automated laser weapons platforms are put into orbit to annihilate anything launched from the surface. Unfortunately it's targeting systems take days to scan the entire globe for launches, meaning that any ship which does not spend about a week orbiting the earth and simply leaves as quickly as possible can run through the blockade.
-The population of Earth still under Vascon control, primarily Brasil, is ferried as quickly as possible to Oz. Most refuse to be removed from their homes, and in order to issue this edict successfully, martial law is declared.
-Seccian and Fasien Oz colonies are invaded by space marines. They are overwhelmed, and their bases are added to colonial settlement destinations. Rapid expansion there and no orders to reduce pollution has increased wildfire propagation across the continent.
-Earth's atmosphere is bombarded with nuclear weapons. The northern jet streams quickly disperse radioactive particles across the northern hemisphere, raising surface radiation levels to extreme heights.
-Decreasing stability and investment on Earth has resulted in the complete loss of control of all territories outside of Brasil. France has declared that aid will be given to Iberian Vascons, while New Amorica and New Navarra are taken by Fasier. Troop desertion on earth is high; most are turning themselves over to Fasier, which has offered to forgive them of their actions in the war in exchange for peace.

GAIA
RocketPropelledPanda

-GAIA reaches an organic singularity, in which all forms of known or theoretical life can be integrated into itself. Even plants are interlinked with nerves and photoreceptors and added to the collective. Grass and trees, in particular, prove to be valuable information gatherers with their new "eyes" to observe every inch of territory GAIA controls.
-Interlinking plant life with GAIA's central brain has transformed the economy's transit system. Massive roots have begun stretching rapidly across the land, digging deep into the earth to gather raw resources and then deliver them to the relevant industries.
-Birds are transformed into long distance "plague" carriers, to spread GAIA's seed to all corners of the globe. Significant colonies have spread in the isolated nations of Formosa and Ceylon, but in other places they have been recognized and expunged.
-Most people are now quite wary of the Gaians, and have begun removing infected individuals as soon as they are spotted. This has had the double edged effect of starting a global witch hunt in which anybody who shows signs of having so much as a bug bight is burned at the stake.
-Gaians in Mortello and Manchester are being massacred by military forces. Both regions have been seized by a single police state regime, which is doing whatever it can to kill off humans in the contested regions before they can be fully assimilated.

The Federal Republic of Forseti
Vlad

-Warships designed for space flight are constructed, but cannot be launched into orbit due to Vascon blockade. Ion cannons are also developed, but they too cannot be launched.
-The Horn of Hattin is improved to cover larger areas with its effect and to be used in a smaller, harder to detect delivery method.
-GAIA's brain bugs are counteracted with special pesticides, injected into people in dangerous regions who may become infected. This has successfully curbed assimilation rates in Aggara.
-Gaians are ordered to be shot on sight. Their settlements are burned to the ground, and lost lands are reclaimed in Aggara. Head shaving is made compulsory in all the colonies.
-Continued attempts to liberate Denmark have failed. Angmar still holds a significant military garrison there. However, rebel groups are making life difficult for the occupying soldiers, and a major uprising may occur quite soon if military supplies continue to be dropped into the country.
-Conscription is enacted for nearly everybody who can be afforded in the army.
-Orbital bombardments cease when the orbital platforms are put out of service by Vascony's blockade.
-National construction efforts are centered almost completely upon Copenhagen, building up the city to be the single most fortified location on the planet.
-Colonists are sent to land on Oz. However, they are quickly discovered and arrested by Vascon military forces.

They were detonated in the upper atmosphere in Vascon air space. That is, above Brasil. They didn't land anywhere. The radiation is primarily effecting the northern hemisphere in regions to the east of Brasil: Europe.

@Cale: You have been deliberately restricting yourself, and thus, BSOD is doing fairly well against you. The only good thing you got from limiting the spread of your new technologies is that the Spaniards do not have them. Also, you didn't specify any kind of counter attack at all. Your PM made it seem like you didn't even know you were being attacked. By all rights, Turkey should still be blue. Lithuania, Tibet, and Moldavia aren't even important. I'm talking less than 1% of the national GDP.

I wasn't aware that we were supposed to, or even allowed, to go specific like that, so all I figured I could do was say "not this area but over here". Even that aside, it looks like my entire population despises me, and it likely doesn't help that I seem to have dumped bodies like it doesn't matter.

Then there's Spainiardia, Japan, and Yomi, which leaves me outnumbered as well as outgunned.

The Greeks of Albania, Greece, and Bulgaria number around roughly 21 million. You can mobilize an army of about… all of them. The Modern Russian and Chinese armies combined are about three million. Due to advanced technologies, this game's USSR has more than that amount, but only by a small margin compared to your forces. War is all about throwing bodies around. The fact is it just hasn't been done on that scale IRL since WW2. You know, how you won Turkey, that is how they won the beaches of Normandy, by some accounts that I have read.

Also, when you conquer the world, everybody is pretty much going to despise you no matter what.

Angmar has fully automated infinite industries and can turn absolutely any raw resource into the materials needed to manufacture any final product via mass conversion and energy based 3D printing. Syserror does not. The USSR still needs people to run its industries and gather raw resources.

If you had read Angmar's turn you would know that the people of Greece and parts of Turkey are living entirely off of welfare due to 100% unemployment caused by their unique industries.
