My first reaction is overwhelming anger and frustration at the sheer stupidity and then overwhelming joy because i realize that no one in power and no one with a brain actually takes these morons seriously

Dae remember when teenagers listened to generic, radio butt-rock? But in all seriousness, stuff like this always fucking annoys me. If they were going to imply their music taste is better than a mainstream "sheep", then at least have better music taste than the people you're making fun off. And when suggesting rock bands, then name rock bands that will be influential for rock like Radiohead and Neutral Milk Hotel, instead of shit like Three Days Grace, Puddle of Mudd or any other radio butt-rock band.

Also, there once was a time where you could use GIFs as profile pics, only a rare few users were able to keep the GIFs profile pics when they patched it.

AVGN's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle review was the first video I saw on YouTube and I'm glad it was. Back in the earlier days of YouTube I mostly just watched AVGN and Walrus Guy. I also remember there being a friend system on YouTube but never really used it that much.

The key word is self. He made the decision to do that to himself. The dog being set on fire is an act of cruelty. I mean i get you mean with all the caps lock on and shit.

I'm Buddhist, but not a full time devout one. Setting themselves on fire was a form of protest. A personal sacrifice so that people understood the circumstances the Buddhists were facing with Ngô Đình Diệm government and persecution.

Thích Quảng Đức's event was unique in the sense that he didn't move or flinch during the entire burning. I guess his determination and sense of being allowed him to withstand the heat. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Unfortunately the media and people misunderstood this event. Suicide by fire has existed for thousands of years, whether for protest or to kill oneself. Burning ourselves is no way a part of our religion as a whole. Burning ourselves was to protest the persecution, violence, and segregation of Buddhists. We did this to raise awareness and call for religious equality.

i'm not a fan of amv's or linkin park in the slightest, but this is a pretty good amv
