49. You write an original story in your teenage years where the main character is an anti-hero who dresses in black and white, is an anthropomorphic black cat with blood red hair, wears chains, cries tears of blood, and has dead goth parents because apparently the story wasn't edgy enough before.

…I said there's a good reason why I no longer look back fondly on the fiction I wrote in my teenage years. I cringed just remembering that old story and am glad it no longer rests in a tumbdrive that's just sitting around (I deleted the whole thing in college when I came across it one day, couldn't stand to look at it anymore).

Sounds rough. Actually that sounds like the premise of a few video games that have come out recently.

Chances are good those games still probably did it better than me. Granted I'm probably making the old story sound worse than it was. I should specify I don't consider things like "being goth" with "being an edgelord," I actually like goths, gothic fashion, and music, but rather I think my treatment of my old OC "being goth" came more from me doing a poor attempt at trying to make the story "dark" in a way that didn't work right (I will say this much: I did my damnedest to avoid "My Immortal" kinds of portrayals of "goffs").

Basically, I kind of threw together a random mishmash of what a teenage me thought of as "dark and angsty" without trying to make it work out well, so it came off as feeling more like "edgy done wrong" than "edgy done right."

50. Your favorite weapon to use in a fictional setting is a chainsaw and you get to blast heavy metal while using it. Blood and guts are a requirement. Setting itself hardly matters.
