When I first joined in 15th August 2014,21 kept changing his name to Whatever Shota and I was one of his victims.And I ended up changing my name to Stupid,StupidSanity and then Gla_Terrorist just to insult 21.I didn't understand how it worked and ended up failing covering up.

Jokes aside, I think this was my reaction when I came back to the IRC on last December:

I think it was Twenty-One saying hi to me, and me leaving.

I already was a mod at that time, and DPF send me a PM to notify me about the existence of the IRC channel and suggested I should join because that would be pretty neat or something as I was a mod so having me there would be useful.

So that's what I did, and my first IRC visit basically consisted of me trying to figure out how the fuck IRC works because Don wanted to give me auto-ops.

I joined and they were talking about something stupid so I got bored and left.

Basically a friend of mine wanted me to join him in chat for reasons I've forgotten and was practically stuck on the #omgkym channel for a while until someone told me that the discussions were on #knowyourmeme

Afterwards, for the rest of my time there I was kinda like.

I found out the irc existed, joined, realized I had to do something in the other room and my computer died before I came back

i was a dick. I got banned/unbanned like 3 times already.

I first took a peek even before I registered an account

I mainly just said Hi and talked with other people about some stuff, the most notable discussion I believe one subjectivity and horror games or some shit like that.
Also the first time I was in IRC also led to my wall getting memed on, that was a lot of fun.

In the long wrong, it wasn't worth it. The mods refuse to ban me, since I befriended most of them, and I am stuck in KYM Hell until I die or find a better forum board.

Hilariously, I had absolutely nothing to say and when I did I could never type it fast enough, so after another couple of IRC visits I never came again.

(Plus, everyone was happening to have some really "meh" conversations while I was there, and that didn't really help matters either.)

For myself, I only really talk when the planets align just right or have to pop into a conversation real fast to talk shit then go back to not paying attention to the chat.
Only really like to talk when papaphill, loli, sometimes RandomMan, Twenty-One, Patrick, or even Amanda gets on.

So many users on the IRC sometimes, but that's really not enough to get me talking.

All I know about is porn, weeaboo shit and the Warcraft universe. Sure, everyone on the irc likes to talk about porn. But, really, I don't want to talk about it so much that people label me as a huge pervert like they did months ago. I'll take weeaboo trash any day.

The year was 2011 A.D. and I was le wacky random 15 year old internet n00b under the username EliqueStudios. I just finished uploading a hilarious entry to Know Your Meme titled "Know Your Meme" (I have since rebranded this as Emem Ruoy Wonk, and you can read about it and its two later sequels on this work-in-progress in-universe wiki: Emem Ruoy Wonk Wiki).

I thought, "wow, the 100s of people in that chat button must be discussing my entry by now! broccoli chicken vinegar cake!!!!111111ONE" (i'm pretty sure that's how I talked at that age) and after thinking those two sentences, I hopped on and friendly faces like MisterJ (and others) said they liked the entry and asked if I was someone from ED or Uncyclopedia because that's how wacky and le randumb me and my entry was. I thought I fit in, so I hung around.

After 2012, MisterJ (now MrWolfy) and the others LOST THEIR TASTE IN GREAT HUMOUR so I slowly stopped delivering major KYM projects like Emem Ruoy Wonk because whenever I showed the IRC what I was working on, they would greet me with "umm no thnx we're grown ups now" and "eww wtf is this?" and "I'm gonna be the first to deadpool and hide your next EliqueStudios entry, Neon". D'aww thanks guys <3

Not everything is all sunshine and rainbows like these statements. Over the years, I have repeatedly been verbally bullied by a select number of KYM IRC patrons (one major escalating case caused me to cry myself to sleep in 2012, another seperate self-contained incident pushed me to well, let's just say there's used to be a scar below my left hand, and finally one extreme situation of a couple of KYM IRC users ganging up on me shocked me so much that I deactivated my KYM account for 3 months in 2014) but as of now, there's nobody I particulary dislike on this website and its IRC (except for a slight grudge against anti-brones) so everything's good!

Don't let this scare you from joining though! That was just my experience. Most of the people in there are amazing, interesting human beings and I love them all, really! As soon as I stepped into the IRC Funpost was shitposting. It was nothing new.

Day 1:

Everyone was shocked that I actually came to IRC after ages of saying I wouldn't go. Apparently people wanted me to go, bet they took that back quickly.

It was around two years ago. I was welcomed by a few people, and that was nice, but then conversation just sort of stagnated. I sat there for a few minutes and nothing interesting happened, and I eventually got bored and left.
