Actually Neo Cortex's voice did creep me as a kid too

Too many modern games… not scary!

However, Resident Evil 1's Crimson Heads were scary as shit.

You tentatively go through a door, to find a crimson head staring at your face with his claws. Hmm…

@Biotic Zombie Yea same here, he killed me 1nce my first time through the origional gamecube version and I was just overwhelmed with all the enemies on screen along with him making it worse lol. Man I miss when games had intensity like that.

On Garry's Mod, I downloaded an addon called Dan's SNPC's. It was very well done. One enemy was like a solid black transparent silhouette of a citizen that actted as a fast zombie from HL2. Except, it was only visible when it runs right up to you, and if you shoot it with regular bullets, it transports, taking no damage. To top it off, you could clearly hear it's echoing screeching and howling from anywhere in a medium sized map. I loaded a HL2 Deathmatch map that looked like an abandoned warehouse, and I applied a fog overlay made to make the map look like it was just really dark, without any lighting. I spawned three of them in each room and hall with the AI turned off. I striped myself of weapons except for the crowbar, picked a starting point, and turned the AI on.

So damn scary.

Just scary because theres so much build up to fighting him, i was crapping my pants the whole time.

Dhoulmagus, from Dragon Quest VIII. Major buildup, then he morphs into this fuckin' crazy thing.

Ddnt you find Krei more shocking when u fight her at the end? Not only does she have a shocking true appearance but I never suspected her to be the antagonist. Also was I supposed to of figuired that out befor the fight with all the Jedi Masters near the end of the game were she saves u by killing them all or kills you (supposedly) for killing them all?

Well that was shocking but in a different way, the whole time i was just thinking, NO Kreia!! Dont fight me i lurrrve you.

Well throughout the whole game there are little hints that she may be more than what she appears. But yeah, that was an awesome twist, if you've ever played Fables 2, its got a really similar character in it.

Btw, can i just say i love Visas Marr, she's the bomb baby!

But, nothing can creep me out now.

@Frk Yea I know When playing as a male character i always try to fall in love with her and handmaiden gets jelous. Visas is also like the best influencial character too. She eazily joins any alignment you want her to.

I have to say that for me the scariest Redeads were the ones from Wind Waker. They were in the Earth Temple that scared the living daylights out of me, they had those piercing Red Eyes, they looked creepy, and the worst part was the Scream coupled with the way their Mouths shifted while screaming. Chilling….. Also the Things only attacked you from behind, so they were a kind of like incredibly terrifying verions of Boos from Super Mario Bros. 3.

@ Thread: Probably RAAM on insane, not that creepy, but god damn took about an hour with my bro. And we're both huge cog boys.

OoT Redeads.
They scream, paralyze you, then grab and do… Weird stuff to you until you die. I had to ask my brother to get the Hylian Shield for me.
And whenever I would reload the save file and start in that city, I would mute my TV.

Turok 2, seeds of evil also had some creepy bosses. The queen and princess or w/e those extremely overdone difficult things wer called. They regained health if u shot the wall by accident for christ's sake come ooooooon!!!

Well for me, I didn't have an enemy that horrified me… but if I had to choose something that did scare me I guess It'd have to be Thom York's Seizures
but Map wise? that would have to be Ravenholm from HL2

I remember Turok 2. My father brought it from work a few years ago for me. But I found it kinda scary. I only had a claw, a pistol an a flare gun in the beginning. Not the ideal weapons to fight human dinosaurs D:

Yeah same, i always have a bad relationship with the handmaiden, i hit on visas marr and then she gets all jealous and doesnt talk to me for the rest of the game :(

Btw, i dont know how anyone could make Marr kill herself to weaken Nihilus, its like, dont people have a soul?
