There is this facebook page that gives a oscar parody-like prize to the best comments, the prize itself is meaningless yet it makes people feel superior to others. And so, I thought about implementing it on KYM and the comment section, as well the forums.

The prize will be given to the best comments and/or posts, ¿what qualifies as "best comment/post"? Think of a comment that makes you want to favorite it. That's a comment that deserves The Golden Don.

I plan to give some users the chance of giving The Golden Don but for now the prize will be given only by me, said comments will be posted on this thread so everyone can enjoy them.

On the subject of your comment, it doesn't strikes me as something worth of the Golden Don. Keep suggesting, though.

This has some interesting potential and there's probably going to be some very interesting posts as a result. We already have good friggin comment as the opposite of this, so why not?

Yes and no. I don't really want to focus in "nice" comments only, sometimes snarky comebacks or straigh up truths are worthy of the Golden Don.

Suggest shit people, give us material for our entertainment.

I dunno for once I kinda have to semi-agree with Epyc. Good friggin' is already a circlejerk of poking fun at others to boost the egos of those who partake, we don't need ANOTHER thread to boost our vanity and highlight "truthful" comments.

My skepticism is high for this sort of project.
