No, sadly I don't celebrate that (although I would love to). I've heard of fête de la musique, but I've never been a part of it. That's one of the things I plan on going to when I go to france.

Aside from all the local amateur bands, I enjoyed a bit of a good ol' rock band called "The Elderberries".
They are a French band?
I like their music. They have some good guitar riffs, and they have an overall good sound. I like them much better than a lot of stuff that is coming out around where I am.
