Agreed, the RPG idea sounds the best.
Even when the first post said KYM The Game, I thought of the KYM experts as the main characters, where the internets have been taken over by some evil cooperation and they want to take out all the lulz from it. Well that’s the base of the plot anyways, I really haven’t thought of why and how they would be doing it, but again, its just an idea…
Weapons would include items like The Ban Hammer, and items would have stuff like Cheezeburgers.
Magic would be replaced with “Memes” and MP stands for “Meme Points”.
Healing/Buffs Memes would be like:
Double Rainbow : Creates two rainbows to heal moderate HP to all allies and removes any negative status effects
“Its over 9000!” – Raises your Attack/MEME points to over 9000 points for a short period of time.
Geddan – Raises Evasion of all allies
Barrel Roll – 80% chance of you doing a barrel roll to dodge any opponents attack until your next turn.
Offensive/Debuffstype memes would be like:
Ken Lee – Sing very bad Engrish causing your opponent ears to bleed (moderate damage)
You Lost the Game- Instant Death attack (low-moderate hit rate)
Backin’ Up – Flee the battle
Summons could be like the following:
Tay Sonday – Chocolate Rain – Creates a rainstorm of Chocolate Rain, causing moderate damage to all enemies while healing allies a moderate amount of HP
Shoop Da Whoop – Heavy non-elemental damage to all enemies
Ceiling Cat – Gives all teammates a cheeseburger which heals all allies to Full HP
Mudkipz – Summons a pyramid of Mudkipz that use water gun on a single target.
I see the battle system as turn based, not active time based (like FFX where you could take your time to think on your move.).
As for the rest, I haven’t thought of anything yet, and this post anyways is just my idea of what I see as the KYM game….
