Um, yes it is. They've calculated an accurate measurement of the quadrillionth digit, but that doesn't mean they've reached the end. New records of pi calculation happen all the time.

yah I guess your right, god imagine if we had to make a choice to live or die, depending on finding the last digit of pi.

What's the point of having these digits?

It makes delicate calculations more accurate. Like sending stuff into space, a small calculation can turn a Mars rover into a piece of metal burning through the atmosphere of Mars.

Makes sense.
