I honestly think The Pyro is a girl. It's good to have variety, when i'm writing a story, I can't have too many males or too many females.

Well. It's a fact that every Valve game has at least one girl (L4D, L4D2, Portal, Half-Life). Players almost know for sure that he/she is Spanish/Mexican and Valve teases us every time about this subject. On the menu: 'The Pyro, why don't you give him a change. Try to beat this: [insert certain achievable]', 'why don't you give her a change. Try to beat this: [insert certain achievable]'

We just have to wait 'till Meet the Pyro arrives, which probably won't answer our question either

I honestly have my doubts that they'll make a Meet the Pyro.
The Meet The X videos were line tests for the voice actors, and since the Pyro doesn't really have any "lines" so to speak…

@PwNeDoScAr actually, they were animation tests. Valve said that without meet the team, they wouldn't have been able to get facial animations as good as they are now.

Also, angrypwnzer misspelled "Opportunity".

They're planning Meet the Pyro to be the last meet the team video, but they are having trouble getting the person who played the medic back for Meet the Medic. That's why they haven't had either.
