Hallo!
I have an old laptop (Pentium II) that I use occasionally for old Dos and 1990s games with which I have a problem. Are there any tech-savvy folks who can help me determine what's up? I can't defragment the hard-drive. The thing keeps resetting itself. I left it on for 5 hours during a defrag. and it only got to 14%. What do?
Any help slash links would be much appreciated, or stories of old computers or games just for fun, for that matter.

Personally, I use a program called Defraggler to defrag. It is exponentially better than the windows default defrag program.
You can download it Here
Let me know how it goes.

1.Buy a new computer, if you want you could use a freeware called DosBox which lets you play old games like Xcom.
2.Reinstall your OS, virus make quick work of older operating systems.

Sweatie Killer: Can't afford a new computer, but have DosBox on the old one… Guess I'll try reinstalling Windows 95
