Right now I can't put images into another tab and I can't do that thing where I misspell something and a redline shows up under the word and lets me correct it. How do I get it to start doing that again? Also when I said "programs" I meant editing programs and stuff used for entertainment purposes, like maplestory and limewire.

Well, now that Limewire is illegal, I suggest Frostwire.

Prepare for list of freeware:
Paint.Net (Free Photoshop)
Gamemaker Lite
Blender (3D program)

And for Meme sakes:
Miku Miku Dance and Touhou 6.
(Your going to have to pirate the last one)

TOUHOU?! Send me a link, i've been dying to play that for years!

No pirating at all, it will fuck up your lappy.

Browser of Choice= Firefox or Google Chrome
Music down loader of choice=4shared.com
Programs=Miku Miku Dance and RPG Maker and GIMP

Don't use Limewire or Frostwire. Frostwire is basically a second limewire now. My friend had to uninstall Frostwire because of this reason.

Dude, get utorrent.
Get Skype.
Get some kind of IRC client.
Get Steam.

I wouldn't advise on utorrent or anything pirated. utorrent almost killed this laptop I'm typing with. I was able to save it with McAfee fortunately. However, utorrent is a GIGANTIC no.

@Ashbot 2.0

Chrome Extensions i like:
- unofficial fb extension
- Turn off the lights
- gmail checker (old version ; new version)
- All Mangas Reader

BitTorrent Clients you can try:
- BitTorrent – standard
- Vuze (formerly Azureus) – Memory Hog, but- easy to share torrents, good for seeding/community, lots of features.
- uTorrent – one of the most widely used clients, small distribution size, feature rich, not a memory hog like Vuze.
- libtorrent/rtorrent – minimalistic client, lots of web front-ends

IRC Clients:
- SF recommended KVIrc to me, and i like it.

Useful Bookmarks:
- Zamzar.com – simple file conversion of many, many different filetypes

Random useful programs:
- VLC -plays a lot of different media filetypes; can also play incompletely downloaded files – making it a good pair with bittorrent clients (and i mean LOOK AT THIS THING :D)
- Open Office – Freeware alternative to Microsoft Office

edit: uTorrent is totally fine. Don't download stupid stuff.

If you want some bad bittorrent clients:
- Shareza / BitLord – malware and adware :D
- Bitcomet – bad for other seeders, only good for the leecher. Don't be a douche; also, blacklisted in many communities.

Repository of all Touhou games ever made, plus a few fan games.

Torrent clients are fine if you don't download shady torrents. Though you'll need to seed. I have a minimum ratio of 5.000, but the standard is 1.000. Also, BitComet = instaban on most trackers.

Anyway, here:
CCleaner – Useful for getting rid of stuff you don't need. Securely empty the Recycle Bin, clean out your browser's cache/cookies/history, clean Flash cookies, etc.
KVIrc – Decent IRC client. Free, infinitely customizable, and plenty of features that appeal both to the IRC noob and the veteran user.
GIMP – Good for advanced image editing.
VLC – Plays everything.
Foobar2000 – Excellent for transcoding, tagging, and splitting audio files. Widely used by audiophiles due to its support for obscure lossless formats.
HandBrake – Ever want to get that DVD or video with a weird file format onto your iPod or phone? This is how you do it.
Adobe Flash Player 10.2 beta – Using Flash 10.1 is horrid. Use this to help make Flash not suck so much.
7-zip – Manage archives, unzip/zip files to and from almost any format (RAR, ZIP, TAR, 7Z, etc) for free.
Microsoft Security Essentials – Free virus/malware/spyware protection from Microsoft. Great if you tend to be careless in your browsing.

Chrome extensions/webapps that are awesome:
AdBlock Plus beta – I hate ads. You probably do too.
Pandora extension – Control Pandora from any tab.
GrooveShark – Excellent HTML5 interface for GrooveShark.
TweetDeck – It's TweetDeck, but in the browser. Written entirely in HTML5, it's excellent for combining Facebook feeds, Twitter feeds, Google Buzz, and many other social networks into one simple, easy to use interface that lives in your browser.
Web of Trust – Quickly determine which sites are okay to visit and which sites will screw up your computer.

Well, that's about it for now. I might think of some later.

I used to have the raw gaming VROOM HD channel from sattelite but Dish discontinued it. I wish i could get that that online. or in a torrrent That channel kcked the shit out of Prince of Persia and then it did interviews with game developers in toaho and park city

Which ones should I get? Also for some reason touhou 6 isn't working.

Hmmm… go for 8 or 11. If you are useing Windows 7 you are going to have to download the DDL file it tell's you to get in the error message.

Nevermind it's working now. I fucking love this game! I heard there is a DDR and fighter touhou game, which ones are those?

The fighter ones are 7.5 and 10.5, I dont know what one the DDR one is.

P.S. As far as I know, 10.5 needs 7.5 to run correctly.
