hmm this is a close one I'm a fanboy of both so every fight I try to plan out ends with a stalemate…

While Dumbledore is pretty badass, I can't quite see him standing down a Balrog.

Dumbledore didn't have to be alive to kick Voldermort's ass by playing everyone like a pawn.

uh yeah but If you die you pretty much loose the fight…

both can use magic very well
both are very experienced in fighting, with Gandalf slightly more advanced.

Hmm..tough choice. Both are awesome, but I'd say Gandalf, for his wit. But dumbledore's plan was pretty epic in the books.

Gandalf is an idiot who planned out his plan to go to Mordor really badly. For instance, why the hell didn't he just have his eagles dunk the ring into Mount Doom? (And other things)

Dumbledore is a decent character in a really overrated franchise that has really stale movies.

In the end, Gandalf is more like Yoda, because Yoda does just about the same dmub bullshit as Gandalf in his movies. Both series are also full of idiocy, while still being very respectable in their own right and also masterpieces.

Because Gandalf is an idiot in a badass move/book series, I vote Gandalf.
