I really love what the comic truly represents. The comic is clearly a metaphor for the difference between the poor and the rich when it comes to the justice system. The comment in the wagon represents the rich while the man pulling the cart represents the poor. The comment gets a free ride through the system while the man is forced to work harder. The robot duck repersents law. I really love how the character of the duck is handled also. The camera represenst "Big Brother" while the duck part represents how the justice system is made of "flights of fancy". Truly a wonderful piece of art. I cannot wait to see more from you in this series.
@Trick
Also, there was a robot.

To me, it looks more like a Baneling. However, if you look closer, the 'tentacles' or 'fangs' are really the guy's fingers. Take them away, and the karma is represented as a token.

Trick-Lobo was halfway there. This is actually an allegory describing the KYM community in the form of an MS paint web comic.
The "user" in the comic is the depiction of the manifestation of the desire to be accepted within a community; in this case, the KYM forums.
He believes that gaining karma is a sign of approval, and henceforth acceptance, and sets out to earn it.
The strangely-mannered duck is symbolic of all the oddities that go into the judging process of who receives said karma/approval. It also shows the peculiar tendencies and possible fetishes of the "more experienced" members of the site.
Finally, the Know Your Meme Forums incoporated is to show that we want your jew-gold.
Make no mistake: the similarities between the karma and a metroid were purely intentional.
In the Metroid series, the titular creatures are vehement parasites that literally suck the life out of their unfortunate victims. Making the karma resemble said creature illustrates how karma will do the same: like a drug, people will come back for more and will go through any lengths to obtain it. Karma will also have a drain on those addicted.
Additionally, all of the misspellings demonstrate the aspects of the pseudo-intellectuality of many posters. Despite the "advanced" vocabulary of the duck and the computer, neither are consistent with correct spelling.

If you're willing to look that far into it, Snorlax is right. That's exactly what the intent of this comic is supposed to be. The monitor represents regret- the regret of his actions he does to gain attention and "krama" from others. (In this case, it's answering the robot duck's questions. I.e., forum games and the liking.) Though due to his need for this "krama", he never pays attention to the monitor. Which is why they don't speak until the end, after the "game" is over. The stormy KYM forum city is meant to represent the long and unfortunate road ahead in the seeking of more attention and krama. It also represents those of the past who have already taken the man's steps. In this case, the forums.
Or, you could just look at it as a funny comic. Either one works.
Thats some deep shit.
Has anyone ever thought of adapting this into a novel?

Well I'll be damned.
I love this comic. The slow, poetic pace of it helps to show that Karma is a slow, never ending process that dehumanizes and tears a person's soul apart in return for internet "brownie points." It's spectacular work of writing and art in my opinion. I would nominate it for a Newbery award, but even it winning that award would not describe the philosophical and psychological depths that this masterpiece goes to. It's arguably one of the greatest works of fiction of our time.
