I'm surprised we don't have an article on this. Even wikipedia does.

What do you think? Maybe it's not a meme per se, but it's certainly present on the internet.

I'd say it's more of an IRL thing. It certainly has a presence on the internet, but so does almost everything. I guess if you can provide an evidence that the online culture is significant enough then it could have an article, but I'd advise against it for now.

i once wore socks and sandals, but that was long ago, i don't even wear sandals anymore (doesn't really get that hot here)
