So, it looks like the Ace Attorney series is getting the pachinko treatment.
I couldn't find the original trailer, but here's some people reacting to it:
I don't know the full details, so if someone could tell me if I should start flipping tables and shouting objection, then I'd appreciate it.
Also, do we have any documentation on pachinkos in general, or at least this latest trend what with P.T. being cancelled for a pachinko version of silent hills? And would such documentation be warranted?

Are these even possible to get in the U.S?
To be fair to Capcom, at least they are still MAKING Ace Attorney games, they may not always come to the west, but at least they exsist *cough*silent hill*cough*
A lot of franchises have pachinko machines (I know there's a Godzilla one, among others), so it existing in and of itself isn't really a big deal. What sucks is when pachinko machines is all that's left of said franchise, which, AFAIK, isn't the case with Ace Attorney.
Oh, and no, I don't think it really needs an article. Pachinko is far too board and generic a topic to qualify for one.
Now if a specific machine starts to stick out for some reason, then I suppose it would warrant an article.

Thanks for the info.
What with the whole Silent Hills debacle, I jumped to conclusions (I know, I need to try better) and thought it heralded a downward spiral.
Glad to know I was wrong. Well actually no I'm not, because I feel dumb for jumping to conclusions. But I'm glad that my fears are not as likely to come to pass as I thought.
