What does everyone think of this new anime series Keijo? Sure it may be about girls in swimsuits fighting with their breasts and buttocks, but it's pretty popular around the web and people have been posting GIFs of them. Even here on Know Your Meme. Already it sparked a controversy and mass triggering. Kotaku wrote a article about Keijo but they find the new anime series 'wretched'.

Should this get a KYM entry so any images and videos of Keijo would be posted there instead of Anime / Manga?

I personally think it's a bastardization of what Shounin is and think it's a cheap ploy for Plot views, but I enjoy Food Wars, so what do I know?

Keijo has been posted occasionally on here, so someone can open up an entry for it and get it into Researching Mode.

Honestly, I've barely seen it discussed on anime communities like 4chan, or many fanart on it, and I don't like making entries on anime series only because they are popular.

From this season, the only new series that seem to be more "memetic" are Flip Flappers (I'm seeing lots of fanart of it and threads on it pop a lot on 4chan), Drifters and Yuri on Ice (some user might love this), but even then I wouldn't consider making an entry on then.

I would wait a bit if you ask me. Just because I don't think the amount of fan art and discussions (Although I have seen a few) has blew up yet. It doesn't seem as anywhere near as popular as Mob Psycho 100 and RE:Zero and they where the anime that blew the fuck up for the last 2 seasons of 2016.

Meme anime of the season often get entries here. We have one for School Live even.

If you think it's worthy it could well be since it defo has people talking, but I think it'll be like Danmachi and be forgotten once this season ends

Yuri on Ice (some user might love this)

You're right, I would love a Yuri on Ice entry. YURI ON ICE FOR LIFE.

But erm yes, I would agree on maybe waiting a little longer (although hasn't stopped even admins before lol so what do I know), but personally my picks for entry-worthy shows go to Drifters, Yuri on Ice and Keijo. I come from a very different section of the anime fandom and I've seen Keijo get a lot of attention in a very Monster Girls-type of way. Haven't really seen much Flip Flappers though, that feels like a show that's very popular among a certain bubble of people but is pretty unknown outside of that. Drifters, Yuri on Ice and Keijo are the ones to watch though.

Also because I can't help myself

Already it sparked a controversy and mass triggering.

Lol at this shit, you have no idea what you're talking about. There REALLY are not many people morally outraged at Keijo, like at all. For a lot of so called SJWs it actually kind of hits that sweet spot of "fanservice too stupid to take seriously", like Monster Girls and Prison School. I can assure you it wouldn't be as popular as it is in certain circles if this wasn't the case, believe me. Not everything is an excuse to get back at the SJW boogeyman you've created, you know, I'd appreciate it if you didn't try to spin basically everything as a feminist controversy.

There really was no need for a """controversy""" section, when the only example is literally a single news article. I could go and add a controversy section to most subculture articles by that merit.
