Hi everyone.
Here is another meme that I can't research properly at the moment. So, if anyone is willing to write an article about it, that would be great.
The notification squad, often as "notification squad got me here" is a youtube comment meme very similar to "first!" and it seems to be a reference to a new notification system installed by Youtube (in the shape of a bell) in order to warn viewer of freshly uploaded content.

I could only track down use of the phrase as far as 2015 or so.
Any help appreciated.

i've seen it

no idea what first youtuber "really" did it first (i'm presuming it's just been around everywhere since the new notification system), but the first channel i saw do it was No Jumper, calling people who used notifications "notification gang / rope gang"

This is definitely a thing akin to 'first!', but I'm afraid to say I can't think of much else for material for an article.
