Hello, I would like to ask assisstance in tracking the origin of a specific well-known interent phrase. Specifically: "I went outside once. The graphics were amazing, but the gameplay sucked.", and its other variation: "I went outside once. The graphics weren't that good / were terrible."
A site or a date of the first use of this phrase would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

The "I X once. It was awful." phrase is usually associated with Grumpy Cat, to the extent that the first ever Grump Cat image uploaded to KYM features it. If you're looking for all the puns surrounding real life and it's "shitty graphics", I'd try looking into the PC Master Race or /r/pcmasterrace where that kind of comedy is commonplace. You're probably looking for an amalgamation of two memes here, which isn't that rare.
