Hello. There's something I've been seeing a lot lately on the French-speaking side of Twitter, the face of Arnaud Gauthier-Fawas, who was a guest on a webTV debate (Arrêt sur images) and who told the anchor that he misgendered him, because he's non-binary.
And his face seems to be reused by people who mock the idea of gender non-binarity, or who just want to mock that person, or just even to play with the idea of challenging an idea.
Meanwhile the word "non-binaire" seems to be used as a joke by many, especially since the webTV debate. (Gender non-binarity is, like, almost unknown in France, so many people probably think the concept itself is a joke.)
The anchor even reacted to all that noise around A. Gauthier-Fawas and non-binarity, in a blog post.
To you Frenchies out there, objectively, do you feel like it's becoming a meme worthy of an entry here, or not? I mean, I've got this feeling too, but I'm never opposed to other opinions, in case my own vision would be biased.
