Seems to be becoming a trend. First there was The Last Jedi and now Endgame.

I assume there are probably more examples that haven't come to the attention of the media but I haven't looked for them yet.

The fact that both films become basically incomprehensible post-edit suggests that this meme is primarily an inflammatory joke, but who knows.

The Avengers one is the only high profile instance I'm aware of. Yeah, it just seems like the edits are meant to ruffle some feathers and "own" libtards epyc style yo.
