The green hair jokes (and others) have been really overused lately, this made them annoying to various users. I have discussed this with Ric. The only reason he still made those jokes was because he thought others were still amused by them. This was however not the case.

Therefore in respect of Ric and the amusement in general I will ask you again to stop it with the green hair jokes. They are no longer amusing and you only have yourselves to blame for that.

And as I promised Ric to jump in in case you guys wouldn't listen: If you do continue to make this joke because you "do not give a fuck", I will look at it as a personal attack towards Ric. This is not allowed in general, so I request you to stop it one more time.

Alright, ill stop abusing the green hair joke, even i was starting to get sick of it, there was even a little voice in the back of my head saying "Say that joke one more time and im going to kick you in the balls somehow, i dunno how but it will happen". So i apologize for abusing the Green hair joke but is negging me seriously the only way how you can get me to stop? You could have asked me to stop after i said it.

I was the person who negged your posts about not giving a fuck about other people's opinion on the joke. I have no idea about Ric or others.

But as it seems you're actually making a shout-out to that, it got your attention. So the message we tried to bring over became more clear because of the neg. It served its purpose even more than we wanted simply because that -1 left you with questions.

You can go ahead and neg this if you feel mistreated.

Not to forget you guys value karma way too much. One neg isn't the end of the world.

(So please figure out how to put the thread back on tracks again..or at least in deeper waters).

The karma system rewards those who make good posts and keeps people away from making (more) sucky posts (in the fear of getting negative karma). The second was experienced by your posts on the previous page.

Therefore it does its job and raises the average quality of posting. People only complain about the system when they get negative or when they feel like people are abusing it. The first is a bad excuse, the second can be easily countered (sometimes also by mods).

Now go listen to Ric and drop this topic. This thread needs serious ships. A lack of ships was a reason I started to dislike this thread. And now I'm also guilty of that as well.

That's another thing btw about this thread. Too many reaction posts and attention whoring. Not every ship needs to result in another 20 nonsense posts. Even though the last couple of posts can't directly be seen as nonsense, they do qualify as them.
