TOPIC: ponies with weapons.
QUESTION: How do you think they hold them?
PIC: A pony holding a weapon (tanks, planes, jets, helicopters, and kind of vehicle are disqualified. The weapon has to be being held by at least one pony)
EXAMPLE:
I think (without magnets or tape) they could use their teeth to hold a weapon.

A bar in the mouth with two swords on the side would work effectively, as would a helmet with a horn. Also, magic with unicorns. And stealing an idea from Fallout Equestria, a battle saddle would work.

I kind of imagine that they might have weapons designed for hooves, since, you know, that would make sense, with them having hooves and all. To discuss it seriously a moment, they would likely be more like clawed weapons they would wear on their hooves than swords or something. Of course, unicorns obviously have much more freedom with something like that, given their telekinesis. I could also see firearms, but again, it would be sort of like the image below. It would fit over one of their hooves, and they would use the other hoof to press some sort of firing mechanism.

He is talking about another forum started a few days ago about a project a few of us are doing to ponify the Lord of the Rings movie scripts.

I could just sit there and mass videos and images, and in the end I just might do that. But I'm going to take about 2-3 minutes to explain why DJ P0N-3 is best pony.
Well, she has 6 seconds of screen time… well uh. That's not much to work with, no.
… So let's dissect the scene and see where she is today.

In this video, you will observe a unicorn pony with neon blue and turquoise hair, white coat, and purple shades lift the needle with magic and place it on the Vinyl record. As it scratches the record it generates MUSIC! How? Magic (-we ain't gotta explain shit-). As the music plays, observe how she moves her head in tune with the music.
The simple cool demeanor as well as a simple concept to exploit for music videos (DJ P0N-3 + Music = Instant PMV) leads her to where she is today. Her appearance at the turntable, qualifies her as a DJ. This of course, in turn, pairs her with many musical figures (Electro artists to be more precise), such as DeadMau5 and Daft Punk. Which generally selects the type of music she's paired with.



Simple as that really.

DJ's are normally associated with raves and parties as such. She even has the hair and cool shades for the part. Hence all the epic fan art.

Normally what I do when I need a good fanfic is look in the star-5 and star-6 categories in Equestria Daily. Macintosh, The Vinyl Scratch Tapes, The Vagabond, and Progress are some of the best I've read recently. Also, if you're willing to dedicate an unholy amount of hours to it, I'd definitely recommend Fallout Equestria, even if you've never shown an interest in the Fallout series itself.

What kind of genre are you looking for? It's hard to reccomend any otherwise. You looking for comedy? Shipping? Crossovers? Drama? Elaborate some more.

Ok just comedy and drama pweeze. ive already read out of the jungle and out in the cold.

Making a mental note to read Out in the Cold, don't know how I haven't got round to it yet.
I haven't read very much decent comedy, but here's a few good ones:

I should really try harder to avoid the sad fics, they always put me in a bad mood for hours afterwards. But, since you asked:

Most of these are already quite renowned, so I know there's a chance you've already read them. Most of them are quite short too, since most of the longer fics tend to be based around some sort of adventure scenario. Hope I helped!

EDIT: Crap, how did I forget Past Sins? That has to contain some of the saddest scenes I've ever read in fanficiton (or fiction in general for that matter)
