Cool. Well, I only go by the name "Muumi" here on KYM. I use the name LavosVsBahamut elsewhere, since it's never already in use. I didn't want to use that name here, since it's always such a pain to write it.

@burning_phoneix
Hmm… I dunno about the name. How about I'll use it, if I can't come up with some clever pun or something else? But if you come up with a good name of your own, just mention it on the Forum, or my wall.

I usually try to upload all my new drawings on saturdays, so you can expect the NGE parody then.

I'm a fan of:

But I'll think something up.

Eeeeyeeh, you probably shouldn't have shown him the first two episodes, you should have started with an episode that leaves a good first impression to newcomers. Episodes that aren't very cheesy and don't rely on any sort of emotional investment in the characters work best for indoctronation.

I would recommend Pinkie Keen, Dragonshy or Party of One for fist time viewers. Pinkie Keen in particular (especially the bit with the hydra) will get new viewers thinking "ok, this is no little kids show", and to get a new viewer the first thing you have to do is get past the "little girl show" stigma.

Meh, he wouldn't have liked it anyways.
I started off with the first two episodes and liked it.

I have a best friend who's a brony and I didn't even have to try to make him one
literally, one day he said on MSN "what's with the ponies?!?!?" and as a secret brony i replied "lol dunno!" then a few weeks later he said "THIS PONY STUFF IS AWESOME!!!" to which i replied "I KNOW RIGHT?!?!?"
and then we had cute image wars every night for a few weeks after

While I completely agree that it's best to start with the least girly episodes, I don't think 'Feeling Pinkie Keen' is the safest episode to start with. The moral at the end is pretty questionable, and not everyone is a fan of Pinkie's twitches. If you look up the episodes on YouTube, 'Feeling Pinkie Keen' has a significantly higher amount of dislikes when compared to other episodes, and usually has some sort of comment war going on.

For whoever it was who asked for Spitfire art:

  1. There will come a point where I come back from…whatever it is I do, and check this thread.
    1. The thread will become so active and I will be so many pages behind, that the rate of new posts…
    2. …Will exceed the rate of me reading to catch up to the current post.
    3. My status as a lurker is imminent.

If you'll excuse me, I now will create head trauma-induced amnesia to unsee the flashing humanized Applebloom. I don't care what anyone says: that's too close to loli for my comfort level.

So yeah, she's pretty popular.

I kid, I kid. :)

I don't know bout Ponychan, but Ponibooru has some crazy shit (even though they mark the NSFW ones, but still)

As a fan of Ponibooru, I'd like to emphasize that everything must have a tag of "Safe," "Questionable," or "NSFW." Then you can filter out the ones you don't want to see.

You can even filter out the ones that aren't tagged with one of those yet, or have a spoiler cover placed over it. Furthermore, you can filter specific tags like "Cupcakes" "or Silver_Spoon."

You can search for pony where there is only pony-related stuff. Search for Scootaloo, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, and less Best Pony ponies. Even tags by artist, items in the background, or comics.

No, I don't receive money for this. I just like the organization of being able to search for a tag and getting quick results.

And yeah, Ponychan is relatively safe. If you find something objectionable, you were probably being a little careless.

Alright guys, I need to know something.
Is Ponychan… safe? Like, is it evil and full of Rule 34, or what?

You can see the rules here, and from what I've seen the mods are pretty good at keeping things SFW. Most regular users seem pretty cool, so not much questionable content gets posted there anyway. Despite this, it is still an imageboard, so eventually you're bound to stumble across something you'll wish you could unsee.

I find Ponibooru to be a great site if you want to look at MLP fanarts. Most the arts I look at are labeled "Safe", including the Molestia pics (I don't know why I can't stop looking at those arts D= ). I look at very small amount of "questionable" contents, but they tend to do with violence.

Oh, by the way guys, I need to make another pony pun for music.
Is there a specific term for the doors that are in stables? The ones used to hold horses in?

They're usually called stall doors or stable doors.

There.

I truly thought she just made some random mud sculpture then ran to spike and flash him… only reason why i thought that is because i have a feeling some one in japan made this…

Hmm. Seriously? I wanted to make a reference to The Doors.
Might use "The Gates" in that case. I dunno.

There.

I hope you're using the American terminology for pants. Because in the British terminology, pants are underwear and Spike would have some explaining to do with AJ.
