I think I'm getting myself too much into being a brony. I just made a bio, color palette, overall design and archetype for an OC and I haven't written or let alone begun to paint anything for a few months. Goshdarn you, Fluttershy. Now I need to go do something manly.

I don't so much want to see a specific fanfic be made into an episode as I want to see a brony or two get picked up for the writing team. If the show lasts long enough for a few of us to start running the asylum then it could make for some interesting episodes.

This is my excuse, unfortunately. At least this year is shaping up to look like it's gonna be a lot better than last, I'm just annoyed that it took all day for me to find time to get in here, though.

Has anypony found that Winter Wrap-Up doesn't exactly match the canon of the story, all of Twilight's friends don't fully approve and her magic and they don't seem as friendly as they do in other episodes. Do you think that before the final story line was decided on they made episodes where they became friends over time instead of all at once in episodes 1 & 2?

I don't really think so, it's just that it's not considered traditional to use magic to help clean up winter. (Ponyville didn't used to have unicorns or something).

We should find some mod developers and have them make Orbital Friendship Cannon a killstreak in FPS's.

And since twilight is a magic pony there was only so much they could do to help her plus they still had to do there work at the same time

I always thought it was interesting how Ponyville was founded by Earth Ponies but they let Pegasus ponies use their flight to help and don't let the unicorns use their magic. If there were only Earth Ponies at one time this would conflict with the tradition excuse.

I guess only Pegs can do certain jobs, though.

Indeed. It looks like the weather team controls all the rain. Since Ponyville seems to be a farming community, Pegasus ponies would have been needed for irrigation.

hey guys what character has the the best… umm.. interesting mental breakdowns in the show?
while they were all done incredibly well, i think pinkie pie snapping from depression is the best one…

you could feel for her so well and the slow process of going insane was really cool…
it's just too bad it wasn't used to it's full potential, no need for gore… but insane pinkie only got like 7 minutes before going normal again… she should go insane again in season 2, and this time, give her a good 20 minutes :)

• Fluttershy's in Best Night Ever was interesting. The fact that she was no longer able to exhibit her special talent brought about anger when most might expect sadness. Unexpected, but funny.
• Rarity's in Suited for Success was still in character along with the one in A Dog and Pony Show, but they were both very entertaining and made sense to me. I always feel like she's on the verge of hysterics anyway.
• Rainbow Dash's made tons of sense in Sonic Rainboom. She's proud and somewhat boastful, which probably covers up some of her own insecurities and her fear of failure. Rarity exploited those fears…beautifully. (It's funny, because Rarity had beautiful wings. Or maybe it isn't funny, because it isn't funny.)
• Twilight's breakdowns may be my favorites, because she is best pony and I really liked her expressions from Feeling Pinkie Keen and and Blazing Saddles reference in Swarm of the Century. And because she is best pony.
• Applejack's breakdown wasn't so much of a breakdown in Applebuck Season.
• Pinkie's breakdown got a ton of airtime compared to all of the other characters. Party of One focused almost entirely on Pinkie, even more than Suited for Success was on Rarity. But I was saddened more than I was tickled at her breakdown.

So yeah, either Pinkie's or Twilight's for different reasons.

I could stand to see Pinkamena for that long. I'm sure it'll work out nicely.

I think everypony will say Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy…I'd say Pinkie Pie too but, thinking, Rarity's personality is unstable too, we can see her sad, jealous, angry, happy on episodes 14, 19, 20 or 26…I, personally, love her breakdown with Prince Blueblood
