This video came out earlier:

A bunch of people were speculating that it was appendicitis, but he apparently already had his appendix removed years ago so it can't be that.

He's been tweeting about this, and apparently the surgery was successful and he just has to be under observation for a while. So whatever it was, it looks like he will be fine soon.

I hope he isn't lying to us about it not being serious. I mean, I'm no doctor or anything, but doesn't having sudden pain, having to go to the hospital, and having to get some x-Rays sound somewhat drastic? I Just hope he's okay.

I hope he gets better soon.

The whole tube up the nose thing isn't giving me good vibes. Probably not a collapsed lung or anything since he sounds that good, but might be something lung related.

I hope this isn't going to end up like with what happened to Monty Oum. Different causes I know, but that is an addition I don't want to make to his entry…

Agreed – having to add a "death" subsection to his entry would be terrible.

I hope the best for Mark. He sounds a bit more rough than how he's taking it, though that could just be me being worried.

These news break my heart. Like, really, I can't stand watching someone as nice as him in pain in a hospital bed, I just… sigh all those tubes and things around him make me feel nervous.

I have no idea. He hasn't tweeted anything in hours. However, he says that he was in surgery, and basically just needs to spend a few days in hospital to recover. I figure we'll get more details in the near future.

Well that's great to hear that after these recent celebrity deaths, that someone beloved survived a surgery for once.

We will still wish him luck. I'm glad he is getting his treatment.

I really dislike Markiplier but I don't wish death to him. I hope that he's okay so he can continue to do videos for the people that do like him.

Good to know he's recovering though!

In his draw my life video, he explained that prior to becoming Markiplier, he had surgeries for appendicitis and for a tumor in his adrenal gland. This time, he had a small bowel obstruction caused by scar tissue from one of the aforementioned surgeries.

Dogs are doctor recommended medicine, especially when they step right on the place you had surgery.
