Mr Kitty's entire library of music is synthpop that takes inspiration from 1980s pop and goth music, but this song more than others to me just feels like "this could totally have been a song made by some obscure 1980s musician."

Very obviously inspired by 1970s funk and disco. The music video even looks like something recorded off an old betamax with a 4:3 aspect ratio, old looking effects, and a lot of glare on the camera.

Maybe it's just me, but this song sounds like a 1990s R&B song. Something about Drake's vocals and the instrumentation really makes me feel like this is something that'd be played on a "classic R&B" radio station.

oneohtrix point never – replica, almost all songs sound like experimentations done in the 80's-90's by aphex twin in collaboration with brian eno

James Ferraro – Far Side Virtual, sounds very inspired by 90's ambient techno

and of course Dean Blunt – Black Metal, which sounds like cassete music from the 70's

This Thundercat song kinda sounds like something maybe from the 70s. There's something about the instrumentation and rhythm section that just seems… 70sish… like maybe old 70s R&B or funk.

Also, I wanna say that a couple of songs off of Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly sound like 90s rap. I think perhaps this one in particular:

Also, like the former Thundercat example, a couple of songs in TPAB also sound like old R&B and funk.
