I know someone may have already asked this, but how do you get your image in the front page? is it ramdom or you have to do something?

It's chosen by admins (and maybe mods, don't quote me on that though). Usually confirmed articles and trending new memes make front page, but not all of them (Ponification was confirmed today, but it didn't make front page, for example). Images and videos are more of a trending thing, I usually see pictures on other sites first.

The images and videos chosen for the front page are at the admins' discretion. Basically, what they like. Also, Ponification will be frontpaged soon, don't worry.

I'm sure it will. I wasn't sure if it wouldn't because anti-brony shitstorm, but it's definitely a frontpage-worthy subject.

Going from my knowledge on the matter, I think opspe and 2spooky answered this sufficiently.

There is some time between confirmation and adding it to the newsfeed when it comes to mod confirms, as those mainly get added to the queue at the end of the day. But don't worry, they'll get there eventually. Quality gets frontpaged, being ponies is not a reason to not frontpage it.

But yeah, the purpose of this thread was already answered, so I'll relock it now.
