There will always be a series for everything (books/TV shows/movies/video games/etc.), even internet media such as Youtube videos. It's already been too mainstream IRL to consider it an internet meme.
A meme is that which is imitated.
People can be influential, but this website is about focusing on the memes, while mentioning the people involved, and not the other way around.
