I don't know if this is the Site or something else, but it's seriously pissing me off and getting in my way.

It's for one day and then this dumb shit will be gone.

Any mod/admin care to explain why this is happening?

Aside from how everyone feels, this is actually pretty impressive. As of this post, 52,700 calls, and 110,483 emails sent. Not bad. Plus it updates every minute, about 1,000 every minute or so.

I don't support it, but I don't oppose it either.

It wasn't when I got on this morning, and it's no less intrusive now.

It's been on since about 2 am (cst) for me. Seriously suggest you guys go check it out.

OP don't be mad. It's not going to ruin your day that they're trying to save the internet by raising awareness. It may be slightly intrusive, but it's worth the bullshit of just one popup for one day.

It may be obnoxious, but at least it stays at the bottom.

Also, I agree with the cause, so it's something worthy of putting down there. Also, it's just for a day. What's to lose?
