Almost every forum post I make is a double post when I am on my iPad. Is this just something with KYM or would it be something I'm doing?

I just have an Android phone, so I'm not sure if it's a tablet thing or an Apple thing. If my post is more than a link or a sentence, then there's a chance that I have to click/tap elsewhere on the page to get the "Post" button to work, because I don't think KYM adjusts pages based on mobile screen sizes, and the entry fields and buttons sometime overlap.
I might make special note of what you do down to the letter when you make a post.
Do you accidentally double click by fidgeting?
Is the post taking a long time to appear when you post? When you look at the timestamp, how much time is between each post? (You might have to use your regular computer for that.)
Does this happen on wall posts or comments? Or just in the forum?
Anything like that might help to isolate the problem.

In my personal experience, I had trouble with double posting on a mobile device simply because I would accidentally double click the button trying to get it to work.
KYM isn't exactly built with Mobile Devices in mind, mind you. There have and always will be problems until one day a mobile version of the site comes out when Half Life 3 does.

I wonder if any users with mad skills could make a KYM app?
It would not only benefit users but like people who come and browse this site for funny images and crap

It actually shouldn't be all that hard at all (I think anyways). They would just need access to the KYM Database in order to be able to correctly program, but that's where the complications arise. Not to mention just because it's easy doesn't mean it's not going to be time consuming to make.

It will not be easy at all without a public API, which currently does not exist.
You would not need access to any private database to build the app. The application would just send the same queries to the server as the website does and list the information in a different GUI.
It's not impossible, but it's very, very time consuming without an API.

I had actually set out to make a said out before the start of the summer, but I never got past making a "Hello World" app for android. (parental/finacial support wasn't there…grrrrr) According to site statistics, almost 50% of views are mobile now (from what I can understand). My goal was to start with the basic articles, then add the forums, then image/video upload, then etc…
Maybe one of these days…I know enough java that an android app should be easy. The main thing is the pages are just having to render too many elements that take up too much space. I don't know anything about making a web browser, but getting one to ignore certain elements that you know will be present should improve load/post times by 4000000%. lol.

Never mind, I found what double posts, it's double click. Try double clicking the Post Button and see what happens

I thought that too. Sometimes it even occurs on my computer. Sometimes it triple posts, or worse, and I can't even delete them.
