One of my upload was unnecessary deleted.
This was the image I uploaded
Then it was reposted by CrowThe Magician. But some how my original got deleted. What up with that?

It's a conspirasy man!

I really want to talk to an admin about this.

The media mods (rip loli) would be more experienced at something like this, along with the fact that admins rarely respond.

How can I contact one?

leave a comment on their wall or pm them. they are on the IRC sometimes also.

Do not direct link to the images, link to the pages the images are on.

The media moderators handle perhaps hundreds of images a day, so there may be reasons beyond who uploaded first.

1. Did you tag your upload? If not Crows may have been tagged so therefore was the one kept.
2. Did you upload the preview size rather than the full sized image? The image closer to the original or of higher quality will usually be kept. I'm actually thinking it may have been this since all images keep an identification cookie on themselves that allows us to avoid multiple uploads of the same image in the same gallery.
3. Did the Image Upload Break after it was uploaded? Sometimes there is a glitch in the system that leaves a blank square inside the image upload and will get deleted.

There might be more reasons, however these are the reasons I can think of why it might have happened.

Otherwise, it was indeed a slip up.

I always tag my uploaded and I did use the full size version.
I don't know about the last one.

Ohhhhh, whoops. I linked both images to Captain Blubber in the IRC so he could remove the repost, and I think I might've accidentally said yours was a repost instead of Crows.

I am pretty sure media mods are able to reactivate images. Maybe you should inform one of them.

Well, that an unfortunate accident. Atleast I knew what happen. But losing all those updates just stinks.
