How can i stop discussion board emails getting sent to me its annoying

go to your profile and edit subscriptions

You can also cancel them entirely.

And how can i do that?

Dashboard→Account Settings→Clear the box that says "Email me replies"

i have unticked that and i still get emails

You may have to manually unsubscribe then. Go here and manually unsubscribe.

Did you click the save settings box?

This is a bug. I'll make the "don't receive any emails at all" box completely disable emails once again

In the meantime you can delete all subscriptions here: https://knowyourmeme.com/subscriptions & make sure to uncheck "subscribe to thread" when posting (we'll make this remember you preference soon)
