Why is this here?

It's just an ad thing I'm guessing. It's a data mining poll meant to make money off of selling the data it gets from people answering questions. Pretty sure it works just like normal ads KYM puts up and generates ad revenue for the site. If you want people selling your opinions go nuts, but other than that ignore it I guess.

After some digging, I found out the surveys are from Civic Science

EDIT: I was able to remove the poll all together by blocking the element in AdBlock. If you REALLY don't want it there, you can always tell AdBlock to get rid of it.

Hopefully that's not adware, cuz that seems like something that a virus would do. If it is, I recommend taking it out ASAP

I don't hold any of these stances. If they're going to datamine us, could they at least give us more options?
