I just noticed this happening today.
In forum posts and comments, images from sources outside of KYM display fine.
But if you insert an image from KYM it displays http://a.kym-cdn.com/assets/blank-b3f96f160b75b1b49b426754ba188fe8.gif instead of the intended image.
This happens on my desktop and phone.

Edit: Now no images are displaying from any website on desktop. Mobile displays forum images but not some comment images.

They should load when they're in your browser's viewport. What os, browsers, and resolutions are you using?

Using Chrome, same situation.

I've noticed some images appear and disappear, some work, and that I can see my pictures on my activity page, but not on the comment thread itself. Weird…

Now all forum images are working for me, but some comment images still aren't working.

Some, but not all, pictures in the comments are coming back.

Is there some Server update we were never told about?

I've had this, but it seems to be javascript related. The blank image is the default but then javascript will substitute the real image later.

Those of us running with JS disabled, or addons like noscript, now have KYM with basically no images whatsoever.

To clarify this is site-wide and not just posts and comments. The front page looks pretty bad without meme images.

For me it's taking longer to load images and spoilered images won't usually load at all, using Google Chrome as well
