In all seriousness, I don't think they'd ever include an indie game unless it's ridiculously popular and becomes a classic or something. From what I saw in the first movie the only things they included were huge classics or things that paid them enough money to do cameos as indirect advertising. For example, I'm sure they would include Sonic anyways if SEGA gave them the rights, but they milked the hell out of Sonic cameos. You could tell they were payed something for that.
