I know that anime can be avoided elsewhere, but it can’t be avoided on this site. And this site is called Know Your Meme, not “Know Your Anime.” Is…Is this how the anti-lewd people feel whenever they see the softcore R34 in the trending images? Because, if it is, then I just gained some sympathy for them. I mean, I always argued against them by saying “as long as memes are also present, then it doesn’t matter how much NSFW stuff is posted on this site,” but now, as an outsider to anime/manga in general, I’m kind of starting to see their point. I mean, I get that the stuff is a huge contributer to memes, but holy Hell, the more I think about it, the more jealous I become on behalf of Western animation.

Alright, sure. Some people post R34 too much, so let’s make R34-posting a fucking disorder, why don’t we? Listen, I know that you’re well-intentioned. I know that you just want to help addicts, but I’m honestly afraid that if this really does get classified as an addiction, then society’s already piss-poor opinion on weeaboos will worsen, and the shit we deal with on a daily basis will increase. Is that what you want? Really? And I seriously can’t believe that most people here are agreeing with this. I mean, I’ve disagreed with circlejerks before, but I think that this is the first time I’ve ever actually been disgusted with one.
