Lately…a few brand new member have joined the site just to **** up things…spamming around and uploading NSFW pictures.

So i bring two options

1) news user will only be able to add an image after reaching a certain rank…like if user "X" reaches gold member status them he will be able to upload a pictures.

Or

2) put the picture to be reviewed by a mod, if that image is approved…the image will appear….if rejected…will not be displayed…HOWEVER if the user receives to many rejections..he will be warned…if he receives a second warning…the user won't be able to add any picture at all….for a certain period of time(one week).
If the user receives a third warning after that period….them he will be banned.

Why i am bringing this??? well just want to keep this site SFW…for everyone

Doubt that’s going to work. Best thing to actually make this work is to let each image be checked by a mod/staff before being added to the image stream. But with the amount of images KYM receives daily, this would be WAY too much work. Not to forget people can also upload images on seperate sites before posting them here, so it still wouldn’t stop anything when it comes to the comments or the forum.

We don't receive these type of people that often. And when they come, we delete their images faster than they can upload them.

As for the rank idea: Same thing, won't work. A lot of images in our stream are uploaded by Brand New Members. Taking away their ability to upload images will cost us a lot of images each day. When a user actually makes comments or forum posts, he loses the Brand New Member title fairly quickly. But if the user only uploads images/videos, he won't reach anything else until Collector at 100 media uploads. Therefore something like this won't help in motivating visitors to contribute to the image stream.

them how about add a limit per user?

This will only work negatively towards users who commonly contribute to the image stream, as those users will suddenly get an error when they reach 20 image uploads for example. Users that create an account only to upload NSFW images hardly ever reach the 10 images before they get caught, they won't even notice the upload limit.

Plus this will as well cost us a lot of daily images. Many users often upload in batch, especially with new entries. Suddenly putting a limit to it will not only work negatively in the daily image uploads per entry, but can also work aggravating, as users are suddenly put to a halt after a while.

Both of your ideas will not work, RandomMan already explained why.
It also seems that your ideas were convenient for you and maybe a couple of others.
Brand new member post, comments, and uploads are actually essential for KYM.
You realize how few mods compared to images uploaded daily?
Your ideas are an inconvenience to everyone else.

I still think that the NSFW spoilers that other sites use could work for this site as well. Also making it more obvious what the rules are when it comes to NSFW material would help. Like having a link on the upload page to NSFW rules would also help.
